OT: Aaron Rodgers

One of the best QB of all time and showed it on the last drive to seal the game. He's gonna have to have one of the best games of his career to get past San Francisco next week.

I'm secretly hoping for a Kansas City and San Francisco Superbowl. Two completely different teams. Would be fun!

Shell of himself.

He and Brady both had big declines this year despite posting “good” traditional numbers.

Their QBRs - which rely more on analytics - were middle of the pack.
If he wins the SB this year does he tie or move ahead of Troy Aikman as the greatest closeted QB in nfl history?

Well I guess it’s not a secret anymore

That article is five years old.

Tweaks have been made to the formula since then.

Look, I think Rodgers’ 2011 season might be the GOAT QB season, but he’s not that same guy.

His INT are so low because he throws a million balls away.

His completion % is below average and he’s aided by a first class RB and elite WR1.

He’s a decent QB now, definitely not elite.
Since you used thrown always balls to argue against the interception numbers, I’m going to used to defend the completion percentage. His is 62% meanwhile Jackson’s is 67%. Not that big of a difference.

As awful as these offenses are, none are as egregious as going from Olivia Munn to Danica Patrick.

His family are a bunch of leeches

Athletes should learn to not give into their families demands, some of them might not be taken advantage of

Never quite figured out what happened with Munn and his family.

That’s a HUGE difference.

5 percentage points is massive.

That’s around 30-40 additional incompletions.

Even if half of those are throwaways, it’s still a significant margin.

And I’m sure Jackson had a few throwaways, too.

The niners are just built to grind people down. And that D line. Gotta slow down jones to beat the pack

Decent ?

Dude are the ****s you’re sucking laced with heroin?

That guy is far from decent . You sound like a hater.

I have never sucked a ***** in my life, friend.

Aaron Rodgers is a decent quarterback at this stage of his career.

Certainly no longer Top 5 and borderline Top 10.

First game wasn’t close and this one prob will be a little close but not by much

Lots of blow outs when you go cross country, chargers raped GB too. I never judge off of previous season matchups especially when it involves cross country trips.

SF likely wins but I wouldn’t sleep on Aaron.

After the Sean Payton comment I’m not sure if you’re clueless on football or very thirsty for attention. Nobody on earth thinks Rodgers is decent.

If anything his down year ( by his standards) is change in offense for the first time in a decade. Also throwing the ball way has nothing to do with his Int being low, they’ve always been low hence why his td/int ratio is all time great.

“Throwing the ball away is the reason he doesn’t have int’s” could be the stupidest thing I’ve ever read. That’s like saying the only reason somebody doesn’t have aids is because they wore a condom. That’s literally what you’re supposed to do.

Rodgers still sees more complicated coverages than any qb in the league not named Brady.

Its amazing the stuff I read on here. Same dude said Sean Payton was overrated lol.

I think I’ll just start not even paying attention to the lunacy lol.

That DL who didn’t even have Dee Ford in the first matchup. The LB crew got Kwon back. That defense is too much. The will prob double Adams as he’s the only WR worth a ****. I’d be surprised if they kept it close let alone win

He’s been declining for 3 years now.

His QBR went from 73.8 in 2016 to 64.4 in 2017 to 54.4 in 2018 to 53.5 in 2019.

His QB rating went from 104.2 in 2016 to 97.2 in 2017 to 97.6 in 2018 to 95.4 in 2019.

Do you understand how hard it is to have a QB rating of 95.4 when your TD/INT ratio is 26/4?

All his other traditional stats are AWFUL.

Completion percentage of 62%, a career low and below league average.

Y/A of 7.0, second lowest of his career and way down from his 9.2 career high in 2011.

This is despite the fact that passing numbers across the league were the highest they’ve ever been this season.

And if you don’t want to trust the numbers, look no further than his PFF grades.

PFF gives grades based on film review.

His PFF grade in 2016 was 90.4.

This season?

81.2.

Still good, but definitely not elite.
