Though maybe that is a bad example b/c some of those photos have legitimately made me lose my appetite.

First, @Paranos and his girthy ladies are not cited in EVERY thread.

In fact, whenever Paranos is referenced, it is usually appropriate, like in the body-mass index thread. Hence, the HUMOR.

Second, it is usually someone else that makes a Paranos "girthy lady" joke. If Paranos was, himself, putting pictures of girthy lades in EVERY thread, I would call him out for his schtick as well.

We just have to be honest. Go Canes has "15-0" in his avatar. He has firmly established himself as the "15-0" guy. He has a choice between being judicious in using the schtick and spamming every thread on the board with the schtick. He seems to have made his decision.

Be honest. The people who "like" the GoCanes/NYSOM schtick are the same tone-deaf "humor" fans who roared with laughter every time Gary Coleman said "What'chu talking about, Willis?" or Jaleel White asked "Did I do that?". They are the same people who are inexplicably surprised every time that Jeff Foxworthy lists another sign that you might be a redneck or Yakov Smirnov educates us with another brilliant insight into the differences between America and the USSR. These are the same dopes who love Carrot Top and Gallagher.

Honesty. Schtick is schtick. It has a shelf life. Johnny Carson used to talk about his rule of three. The fourth monologue joke about ANYTHING is always where his audience stopped laughing as hard. People need to study Jimmy Fallon. He rarely did any of his imitations more than a couple of times on SNL.

Be original. Be creative. Be surprising. @Go Canes!! , you've made your point. You will forever be associated with the "15-0" schtick. But now you are being as stubborn as NYSOM.

I would certainly like to read more of your discussion-oriented posts. I hope to see more of those and fewer of the "15-0" posts. Just telling you how I feel. I'm capable of giving respect and criticism at the same time. I have no personal animus towards you, I love all my fellow Canes fans. Doesn't mean I want to sit next to all of them for an entire game, but you understand.

Post more good stuff, I'll be happy to read it and engage in discussion. "15-0" doesn't give anyone much room to exchange ideas.

The mods can’t ignore him. Or anyone else because there is no other way for us to moderate but to read every comment.
I’m not taking sides on this issue. It doesn’t bother me as much as it does RVA, but I respect him and his position on this board and I would ask that others do as well because he VOLUNTEERS a tremendous amount of time to make this board better for everyone.
So maybe a few of our friends on here will consider not posting 15-0 on every single thread because it bothers a person who literally cannot ignore the comment and still do his job effectively.

might I suggest a compromise between you and RVA whereby you post 15-0 in maybe 25%, even 50% of threads as some enjoy the humor and then provide commentary in the other 50-75%? If you agree, no need to acknowledge.

I only do it in about half the threads. At this point rva or another poster does it for me.

I've been on UM boards for over 20 years. Three prior boards that I've been on have imploded due to immature males who felt they were entitled to say/do whatever they wanted. I'm not saying that's the case with you, I'm just explaining why Maudes are a necessary evil.

The Maudes have a thankless job that they do for free. Even the owners are not making retirement money off this site.

Son, we live in a world that has internet chat boards, and those boards have to be guarded by Maudes with keyboards. Whose gonna do it, you? @Andrew ? @RVACane has a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for NYSOM and you curse the Maudes. You have the luxury. I'll be the first to admit, I was not a big @Paranos fan at first (no pun intended). There were a few times that I critiqued the P-man's posts.

But, ****, if his heartfelt and PASSIONATE odes to the larger women didn't change my way of thinking. I may never SEE any of @Paranos' Angels with the same lust with which he sees them, but I absolutely respect his posts as honest and genuine.

@Paranos has no schtick in him.

I will always wish for @Paranos exactly what Westley wished for Fezzik...
