I say he does good things in the off season like the TRob hire was legit a dik hard moment. My thing is whatever we bytch about in the off season he corrects. It seems like I bytched about Rumph day 1....when most of the board was finally on board he fired him. Same with Enos......he does things that please the fans in the off season. He should of been took over defensive playcalling but he waits to use that card today things will be different. Not a week into spring and McCloud is Jadavrn Clowney and it's the typical seniors starting bs that we hate. I just think he's a fraud and was against hiring him. I don't want to be right but it's like I told you so. It feels that way

Bro, you’re making up reasons to go into a funk. “Not a week into spring..” is exactly right.

Yet in the very same paragraph you’re freaking out about something that’s meaningless. Who said he was the next big thing? Not Manny, not any of the other coaches, just one guy on the staff said one half-ašś nice thing about him.

That one guy is Simpson, who most everyone on this board pretty much thinks is a good and legitimate defensive line coach.

And what did he actually say? Nothing like he’s the second coming.

He made some offhand remark in an interview, probably to give the him some confidence. Nothing more. It’s not like he’s even declared him the starter or even a full time player. Like you said “not a week into spring”
 
I won't lie, the fact that 15-0 drives so many people crazy makes me **** myself laughing and i hope this is what every offseason is like. He's living rent free is sooooooooooooooooooo many places right now. :ibis-roflmao-sm3: :ibis-roflmao-sm3: :ibis-roflmao-sm3:

Go Canes has a point when he said our guy RVA is taking this to a different level with his gifs and attention to it. The scarface "world is yours" 15-0 might have been one of the top 5 gifs ever on this board. It's really taken on a life of it's own and it's more fun to read the comments back and forth about it than anything else in the last few offseasons.

And because you guys are at least somewhat civil about it everyone can see both sides make valid points. I'll be honest i hope it doesn't stop because it's entertaining as ****.

Lol. I love @Go Canes!! He’s a great person and a friend. This is like bickering for a rise with your childhood friends, believe me.... and mostly. he gets the rise out of me. 😂

Mat Drills at the Y with the singlet was the best hahaha. Even the Butch Davis is a football god thing was pretty funny with him.

As for the petey video...i could never tell if that was real or just a really really funny look a like video hahhaa. Can anyone set me straight there?

Cane Dynasty was a good one and i'll never forget he broke the Ahmmon never playing another down for us and was hated for it, but he was right.

I do hate schtick.

We just have to be honest. Go Canes has "15-0" in his avatar. He has firmly established himself as the "15-0" guy. He has a choice between being judicious in using the schtick and spamming every thread on the board with the schtick. He seems to have made his decision.

Be honest. The people who "like" the GoCanes/NYSOM schtick are the same tone-deaf "humor" fans who roared with laughter every time Gary Coleman said "What'chu talking about, Willis?" or Jaleel White asked "Did I do that?". They are the same people who are inexplicably surprised every time that Jeff Foxworthy lists another sign that you might be a redneck or Yakov Smirnov educates us with another brilliant insight into the differences between America and the USSR. These are the same dopes who love Carrot Top and Gallagher.

Honesty. Schtick is schtick. It has a shelf life. Johnny Carson used to talk about his rule of three. The fourth monologue joke about ANYTHING is always where his audience stopped laughing as hard. People need to study Jimmy Fallon. He rarely did any of his imitations more than a couple of times on SNL.

Be original. Be creative. Be surprising. @Go Canes!! , you've made your point. You will forever be associated with the "15-0" schtick. But now you are being as stubborn as NYSOM.
