Notre Dame falls to Duke and it looks like Florida is all about done. Does this day get any better? :nice:

Actually the ND score isn't the best outcome for us. We need them to have wins against everyone except us for strength of schedule considerations.

I don't think it'll matter. If we win the ACC, we're in.

Long way to go, though.

FSU moves up with today's win, probably #10 . If Louisville finishes undefeated they are probably ranked #3 . If we go undefeated we'll probably be ranked number 6 at time of ACC championship game. Beat Louisville and we get #4 playoff spot. If we go undefeated and win the ACC we are in, regardless of SOS. I don't think we are quite there yet, but maybe this turns out to be a magical year.

If we win out (and that is a big if), it won't matter b/c it means that we would have to beat Clemson or UL in the ACC title game. That is WAY down the line and we would need to beat a lot of other teams first, but all of the sudden the two hardest games on our schedule look a lot more winnable.

Let's also not get ahead of ourselves with talks of the playoffs; even though we have played a light schedule so far, it is evident that are a much better team than last year, but I haven't seen enough to make me think we are a top 4 team (at least not yet).

Lol. Buddy said this game brings Tennessee back to relevance.

Bammer and A&M are going to sodomize them.

Wouldn't shock me to see them lose to UGA next week either, which might be one of the worst games ever played.

Al Golden with another program stamping early season victory over a **** Florida team

Florida sure does know how to keep a rival coach employed

If Louisville goes undefeated that means they beat Clemson. They should bump up to number 2 if that happens.

I don't know what is more embarrassing, Florida allowing Tennessee to come back and destroy them or Tennessee letting Florida score 28 with the backup QB. Either way I'm happy as ***c.

It is crazy as I think we might win more games this year then in 17 or 18 due to our schedule. I still think at ND is our toughest game as we ain't losing to FSU at home , not with this coaching staff ( who I believe is our best staff since the JJ years.

UF has really fallen on hard times. I hate seeing any Florida team lose to out-or-staters. I suppose they are looking for a post-Urban Meyer franchise coach, just like UM was after Butch left.

So you HATE seeing Florida or FSU lose (to out of state teams)?

This is one of the puśšiest things I've ever seen posted here. Give up being a canes fan and take up crocheting - it suits you better.

Judging by the minus-5 to my post, I can see that the Gator-hatred is intense on this site. I don't understand it. Florida football is the best, what every football-savvy state wish it had. Best high-school ball in the nation. Three premier college programs, plus some up-and-comers. When they are not playing the Canes, I want Florida teams to win. All of that says that the best football is played in Florida, of which UM is a major part. Would you rather that Florida talent went to OSU and AL instead of UF? Come on. Let's have some Florida love.

I'm in CA, which i love. But my football heart is in Florida, and especially in Coral Gables.
