OSU vs Oregon

Some balance: Mario is doing what he's doing because he has support caching and a talented enough O-line -across the board- to allow his OC to utilize his full playbook. We're a half decade of recruiting away - even if we nailed every class - of putting that type of line together recruiting wise, let alone S&C and developing it.

Its coaching, its program philosophy, its recruiting and having the right HC that orchestrates all that. We still recruit South Florida like its the 1980s and it isn't cherry picked before we get to the guys who are left. Plus you can bet those Top Tier Teams don't come to South Florida to recruit O-linemen - those are the recruiting innovators today, finding those guys.

OSU is starting to feel the effect of Urban not being the coach.
Hyperbole aside, they do have an insane WR group and beast at RB, as well as an offensive line of 5* recruits. What they don’t have is Justin Fields and the 7 chunk plays he made every game.

Every coach has major ****ups. It’s about the body of work and trends. Not saying the dude is the second coming of Jimmy, but no one who would be on the market is. He’s up 2 TDs on the road against 1 of the most talented teams in history. And his team is physically owning OSU (for now). Impressive.
100%. I'm impressed today. Oregon may lose to Arizona or Washington State, or some other game they should win.

Oregon has recruited well and is prepared today, on the road against one of the top 3 programs in the country.

Diaz would have nothing for this game and a Ohio State-Miami game today would be essentially over by end of the 3rd quarter.

Oregon has plenty of time to blow this game. Hopefully this time they take a knee instead of running and fumbling and losing.
