I'm unconvinced he did want it. As you say he'd be unwise to leave now. Wouldn't any top coach to leave where they are to come here? Especially since they'd have to deal with the **** Miami deals with?

So there's people who do nothing but root for losses for our own program because they don't like the coach we have instead.of piling for his success. I'm not in bed with any coach but all this rooting for Miami losses and trashing the program only does us damage.

He's a S FL guy. He was a **** good player here. He's made a good career in coaching.

The only reason you wouldn't like him is because you're butt hurt that he went to better his career and make more money learning from the best in the business. Best call he'd ever made, the same any coach would make.

That or you called him a corch. You can't stand being wrong, so you want him to fail. Who wants a member of their family to fail? That's fine weird stuff. The very definition of butt hurt.

100%. Who could blame Mario ? He had a chance to work for Saban in championship organization, or for Al Golden. Easy call. Alma mater and hometown only means so much. Miami still would have fired Golden and Mario would NOT be HC at Oregon with 2 PAC12 titles and $5.5M/yr. I guess there's a chance he could have promoted to Miami's HC, or been retained by Richt, but maybe not.

The fact is, FB is a contact sport. I played Safety in school during a time u were allowed to blow up ppl, and that chit hurt both of us. So I’m def all for dismissing that type of play, head shots, but helmet contact is going to happen either in trying to protect oneself from contact, or gearing up to tackle. If a runner is bracing for impact, and I’m going for the body, but he dips, our helmets are going to clang. Just b/c he’s woozy, shouldn’t mean the defender should be penalized.
