They have barely beaten every team they play, and are only remotely competitive b/c they covered up a rape, and then delayed the title IX hearing to make sure their star player remained eligible. They have no business being allowed in a title game. They played a joke schedule and barely scraped by.

Had a Cane team skated it's way to victories week after week and been the only undefeated left standing at the end of the season and been left out in the cold. You would be the 1st screaming bloody murder and blaming everyone under the sun.

You got guys still ****ing and moaning about missing out on OU in 2000. Yet we lost to Washington and they got jacked as well.

ND was the only team that didn't lose that season. They beat a 12 win Stanford and beat OU in Norman. They didn't get moped by Baylor like KSU. They beat Stanford which gave Oregon it's only lose. Remember UF got smacked by Louisville in the Sugar Bowl. Those were the only 1 loss teams beside Bama.

So who else was going to give Bama a fight that season? They got beat down but that's life.
