But some other teams made new appearances in my top 25, with Miami at No. 2 and Michigan No. 3. Overwhelming No. 1 Alabama is at No. 5 on this ballot, and that certainly may seem low. But the Crimson Tide has one win over Virginia Tech and was off this weekend. The four teams above Alabama have what I believe are better wins that, through this point in the season, indicate a better overall body of work that deserves a higher ranking.

Miami finishes the season ranked no. 1 on everyone's ballot, so to me this guy is still behind the 8-ball.

lulz at the notion of using only the current season's performance as a metric. All polls should reflect performance by last year's seniors, media hype, and conference played in (SEC SEC SEC).

Has that guy watched Oregon yet?

you mean the same oregon we've seen the last 5 years? score 60 until they hit a bcs defense and then score 19?

A game they had a chance to win late and lost by 3 points to the Heisman Trophy winner......championship games aren't usually easy from what I thought...lets be real. We would get mopped by Oregon right now............later in the year, I'd take my chances and like 'em!!!
