I can remember 15 years ago I would come to Orlando for business and it would probably be 40% Canes, 20% Seminoles, Gators and UCF. Im talking radio, merchandise etc. Orlando is now a UCF town in the way Gainesville and Tallahasse are. Radio, hotels, walmarts, residents...all UCF all the time. Maybe a little off topic but it's interesting how things have changed and how it will affect us

The university of coral gables is a regional brand now

ha! In 2000, I was in a CVS 1 mile from Campus and all their beer coolers had Nole and Gator logos. NONE had Canes logos. We had to win title #5 to get any representation near campus!

our fans don’t buy gear unless we win and win big.

Orlando May be a UCF town. But it’s talent ain’t going there

LOL hardly. Literally everywhere I go someone always comes up to me saying they are a fan....Atlanta, Vegas, Charlotte, air planes, etc. heck even in Birmingham, Alabama you got people still reppin the canes (and all of those were just in the last month).

Well UCF did win the "National Championship" recently so that has a lot to do with it.... and the School actually being in Orlando...

UCF is IN Orlando .. and has an enrollement north of 50,000. Why are you surprised??

They have a downtown campus now and the law school will be downtown

Cut the crap, I am well aware that there will be a downtown campus, but that is NOT where 50,000 students are located.

Ooooh, Miami has a med school campus in downtown Miami. We are still located in Coral Gables, and to make the argument that UM is "in downtown Miami" would be idiotic.
