Oregon vs Auburn

Blow 21-6 lead with 3 minutes in 3rd, burn all your time outs with 5 plus minutes left, have a very experienced OL and stud QB and Manny got killed for losing with a very young OL and fresh qb?

This. A thousand times this. Manny also had to coach against UF in what is a home game for UF in his first collegiate game. Mario has about 5-6 years (give or take) of experience.

If you're rooting against Mario you're not a UM fan at all. Bet if this was Ken Dorsey Oregon would be your second favorite team...

spare me the sanctimonious bull****. i don't dislike mario, but i'm going to call a spade a spade. he's a great recruiter and a mediocre coach.

Classic Mario. Not knowing a pretty common rule and blowing two timeouts in the process. Game management. It's little things like that Mario struggles with. Not shocking, considering that his mentor Butch Davis was awful with the same things. I see a lot of Butch with Mario, right down to Miami fans worshipping them far beyond what the resume would indicate.

There is no need to crown Bo Nix.

The point is that he made the plays to win the game when it mattered. Don’t get lost in the details.
So Williams didn’t make a play to win the game when he threw an elite throw to Thomas that was dropped or another good ball placement that Jordan wasn’t able to hang on down the stretch? This whole narrative doesn’t exist if either one of those plays come to fruition

WHo cares about his dad? He just said Bo Nix is a more polished passer then Jarren Williams after a game where Nix showed that he is woefully inaccurate and threw 2 horrible interceptions. Dude threw one TD to a WR who no one was covering and the other was a jump ball to a 6'5 reciever, yea he's elusive and might be a gamer and Id give him credit for winning the game, but his analysis of QB's leaves much to be desired sorry i realized i replied to the wrong dude
Bo nix should have thrown at least 4 ints in that game and was underthrowing the ball all over the place

Your post is pure stupidity- even a total moron could see the monster that Butch was building at Miami and which came to fruition during his last season and the two seasons after his departure- and as for resumes determining qualification for enthusiastic fan support, or “worship” as you put it? Let’s see- Diaz is a journeyman dc who has been fired for poor performance- he has zero head coaching experience- he never played college football- and he’s a Seminole- wow what a home run hire!!!

Mario ain't gave up ****! Mario didn’t drop a wide open td pass, nor did he miss a chip shot field goal or fumble inside Auburn's 10! And he ain't just " ANOTHER COACH ", he's a Hurricane m

Lol Hurricane who ditched his alma after a month

He’s a snake

You're an Idiot...Thank F-ing God for Butch...This board wouldn't exist without his "Far beyond Resume".....

I’m not rooting against the guy but I am not going to act like he is not a complete dumb*ss

Mario had a three point lead against Stanford. He had the ball in the red zone of Stanford with 1:30 left and a first down. Stanford had zero timeouts. He somehow lost that game

Butch saved a program from the brink of extinction. He was the only guy who even wanted the job.

Side note, Oregon was finished by the end of the 3rd, their defense was wiped. Butch teams always fought even when we barely had a 2 deep.

You realize what a complete backstabbing POS Cristobal was to us right? And I'm not talking about him bailing on us to go work for the Devil, I'm talking about what he did to us when he was out doing the Devil's bidding.

Wow, he had two decent years. What happened AFTER lightning struck? Hmm, a whole lot of mediocrity. There's a reason why the guy is at FIU, and hasn't been interviewed by any school worth a **** since leaving UNC, but continue to blow him. If I ever managed to invent a time machine, I know the perfect group to market to: Miami fans who won't let go of 2000.

Stop your stupidity......Since 2004 when the LAST of Butch's kids left, tell us how things have been since??....I know.....just a coincidence that our rapid descent into mediocrity happened at the same time....
Keep comparing the likes of Coker...Shannon...Golden...Richt...Diaz..etc to a man who built the Greatest collection of talent in NCAA History....Your a F-ing clown....you can't even fathom the uphill battle Butch had on a daily basis from 95-98....with a BOT that wouldn't give him the time of day. You can't F-ing understand it, because your Faqquit *** was one of the numerous other Faqquits who backed a banner Blaming him for a previous regimes lack of institutional control.....Go F yourself...

Butch managed to lose in 2000. Let that sink in, he managed to lose to a Rick Neuheisel led Washington team. Despite having arguably the best team in program history. Think about it, the 2000 team was significantly deeper at multiple positions than the 2001 squad. Butch managed to lose a game with that team. Say what you want about Ken Dorsey being a youngster. He isn't some coaching savant, and it's been proven by the last decade plus of him being a middle of the pack guy.

Oh, I guess Larry freaking Coker being coach had nothing to do with the collapse. You bring in a competent coach, and Miami most likely continues to roll, at least until the arms race really gets going and Miami starts to get priced out of their own home recruiting territory.
