Having a legit franchise QB also helps, one that was willing to come back and play one more year. I will say this, the proof in regards to Mario will come next year when Herbert is gone. Let's see what happens. I think that eventually he comes back to what his ceiling is at a wealthy program: A 9 win, middle of the top 25 coach that finds a way to do less with more.

I feel what u saying but what if Diaz fails in three years and Mario kills it. Doesnt win a title but has them in the top ten yearly how woukd u feel that we had a chance to hire him and chose not too? That **** wont sit well with me man. I get why people root for him but thats my selfish reason to root against him lol

He was here for awhile must of saw how we were run and ran his *** away from here. Lol who knows. I know he left for money it was the right choice. I want him to lose not cause of that but because what i stated above. Im over him leaving but if he wins and we dont rise as a program u know how hurt and how angry we as fans will be? I dont want to be angry....UM already gets me angry well enough without the help of other things i dont need anymore anger in my life regarding UM football lol

Here is all you need to know about our Evals. We'll lose out on a kid (I'm not taking about the super obvious studs like Judy Jeudy) but the kids a level below him and they still go on to become mediocre players elsewhere. (ie: Tyler Bryd, etc)

Which means even if we did close on most of our evals we'd still be where we are today because a lot of them are bust.

**** right, he had no problem bailing on his alma mater to go work at Bama, and while I understand the WHY of the move, still shows that Mario is a mercenary with little actual love for this institution. Frankly, the only reason he was even considered for the job is because our fans believe in this "Miami Guy" garbage, his resume at the time didn't even warrant an interview.
