It's also bc these kids don't wear pads anymore.I’m talking upper body since that’s what takes the beating, but I played good level D1 football and I’m only 2 years removed from playing so I digress. I’m not saying he can’t, just over the course of 16 games, it’s a big toll. You saw how ****ed up Kobe’s shoulder got and he’s got 20-30lbs on Fitz. I’m not here to **** on Fitz but if he wants to play strong safety or every down (as ZP would prob stay at Free Safety) he’s not big enough to fit the run full throttle which OCs will do (kinda like what Shannon does to other team’s corners, makes them tap out)
Looks like that injury was while he was still at FSU.If you Google his name and 2026 injury. Their is a pay wall article but the first few lines yoi can read seem to mention he missed most of the year with a hand injury.
Maybe it was from punching Norvell in the head.

The shoulder pads i wore in junior high were bigger than the pads these players are wearing today. And that doesn't even mention the lack of any lower body pads for some.
I get he's small but he aint 165!!!Massive pick up. I love Fitz but he’s 165lbs soaking wet he’s not an every down safety bc of that. Love bringing in competition and depth. Next is LB bc I’d be damned if we went into the year counting on Chase Smith and Mo Toure to be healthy all year
Walking up to a HS for a visit LMAO
BINGO. Im sure its not a deciding factor but it can never hurt to have other kids from STA on the roster when we are looking to add two ELITE guys from there this year!Great depth add at safety. We saw how important depth is. And he’s at an important school to recruit at
I agree I think this will be a highly underrated signingThis kid isn’t coming in to be depth peace . This kid imo when he was fsu was the best safety they had. He going to get lots of PT imo he’ prob play Scott’s role . He was good when he was at fsu with our db coaches and d cord he will be better than what most people thought
He’s listed at 170 on ESPN. I was shocked when I saw him off the field too cuz he looks much bigger on the field and trust me I hope he’s all conference too, but we solved our size issue going out to get Hussey so I ain’t worriedI get he's small but he aint 165!!!
By next year he'll be in the 190-200 range and in line to be an All-Conference Safety.
I was coming here to say something similar. To me, he fits the nickel/K scott role. Plenty athletic to cover and violent. Could be a sneaky good add at the end of the portal cycle. This kid isn’t coming in to be depth peace . This kid imo when he was fsu was the best safety they had.
