Oregon Pounds the Buffs

I’m sick and tired of all the Coach Prime slander.

He’s not doing it for the money or the fame, he’s doing it for the culture.

He is going to make peoples lives better, he’s going to raise the culture and be a savior. Coach prime deserves all the support he can be given.

Coach Grime is all about:

• ME
• I
• Self-aggrandizement
• Self-promotion
• Hype

Let’s analyze your claim that “he’s going to make people’s lives better”:

• Like the life of the player he kicked off the team in humiliating fashion in front of all his peers & the world to see on TV. What if that young man had harmed himself (or his life goes into a downward spiral) due to the public humiliation? That shows he doesn’t give a **** about his players just his own agenda & goals;

• This season his great lesson to the team was something to the effect of: if two of us fight you can’t just stand there, we all need to join the fight. That kind of brain dead “lesson” will leave husband’s & boyfriends in jail in the future with their wives/girlfriends wondering how they are going to keep it together & provide for their families while the “man” rots in jail. Real men (strong men) don’t need to fight. They know what time it is & that they are the stronger man & avoid doing real dumb things that hurt their loved ones & prospects in life; and

• He let his players (representatives of the University of Colorado) spit & trample on the University of Oregon’s logo. Nothing wrong at all with being a fierce competitor on the field & playing a tough, hard-hitting brand of football (within the rules). Letting your players publicly humiliate the University & its public image (which Faculty & Administrators devote their lives to building up) is flat out embarrassing. Couple that with the Buff player grabbing that fan’s bandana and you see where this could be heading. What’s next as the pressure builds for Grime to back up the hype, start bringing in Aaron Hernández types?

1. He set a horrible precedent with what he did to his existing players. They didn’t quit. He fired them in mass. Now other coaches will do the same.

2. He humiliated one of his own players by very, very publicly ejecting him from the team. For the entire world to see. And that guy was a former Cane, so it resonates here.
Admits he plays favorites with his own children.

Clemson is 2-2 and unc is average. Nobody is hyping up that Clemson game any more. Y’all want media love so bad lol. As long as prime is in Colorado they will be the topic

UNC ranked ahead of Miami and undefeated. UNC is just being UNC as usual. If you really think the Media won't hype up an undefeated Miami team against Clemson HAHAHAHAHAHA

Coach Prime needs more supporters like you who realize that no matter how it might seem like Coach Prime is the one that profits, it's all the little people in his orbit who get to enjoy the crumbs of the golden cake that follows him everywhere.

Yes I support him n what he's doing. He's no different then these other self promoting coaches. He just happened to be prime. You know the outside coach. The other coach

It’s already started, the crack in the ice is already there. When faced with adversity what does this “leader” say? Here is Deion’s quote from his post game presser:

“If I was out there playing against any of the coaches Colorado plays against, we would be totally dominant”

Well Deion, you’re never going to be out there playing again, but make no mistake, you are out there and you didn’t dominate. You’re now a head coach, and not only were you not totally dominant, you were completely unprepared in every phase of that football game to include pre and post game. It has very little to do with the final score but rather how that game unfolded. Anyone with common sense knew Oregon would win that game, but it’s how they won the game that’s so telling for Coach Sanders.

Let’s see how he “leads” his team into the next game and the remainder of the season.

And by the way Deion, keeping receipts is nothing new, the football world has boxes and boxes of receipts with your name on them.
Yes, we all have receipts on the stupid **** he says about himself and his team. It's just funny how he pivots saying, "I don't say things just to say it."

Then he says, "Get me now because this is the worst we're going to be." I don't believe he's seen the worst yet and that comment will surely demoralize his team further.

How many did CMC replaced last yr. 20 something. That's called cleaning house n bringing n your own players. Who doesn't do that. Stop listening to the media. He's the coach. He can do that. Other coaches do it. No problem. Prime does it. It's like he can't do that. Oh but he can. He's no treat to Miami. So what's the problem. Them folks n Colorado like him. So what's the problem. Oh I know what it is.

Sure replacing graduating seniors and telling a handful they need to transfer is exactly the same as giving your whole team the boot. You're really smart. Post more.

Anyone with a little football knowledge and a decent set of eyes could see Colorado isn't a top 40 team in the NCAA. Their oline and dline are cheeks. They probably lose to Utah usc UCLA Oregon State Washington state. If they go 6 and 6 that is progress but no one likes a loud mouth coach no one. When have we seen a coach as long mouth as prime. He is like the lavar ball of college football. It just runs people the wrong way.
This.

EVERYONE knew this was going to happen sooner rather than later. Absolutely no way you can gut an entire roster and rebuild it with the type of elite talent across all three phases of the game and assemble the depth required in one offseason.

The dude knows football at an elite level. Can’t take that away from him. But if he would just shut up, let the kids play and be more humble about his progress he’d have a lot more supporters.

He makes you want to root against him just to shut him up.

Yep naw your the smart one here. I don't care if it's 25 or 82. He can do that post grads or whatever he can do that. Why does it bother you. Smart one.

At least you made some sense n I can agree with. But some of these posters on here. Root against him for the wrong reasons.

It’s specifically the two things.

One…cutting not 20 players, but at least 50 if not more. Most of them did not enter the transfer portal willingly. Yes, all other coaches do “house cleaning”. But no one did what Deion did at that scale, even though Mario, Rhule, Sarkasian, and any other new incoming head coach in 2021 - 2023 could exactly the same and flip a roster with 78 new players in an offseason. Exactly 60 Miami players are gone from Manny’s 2021 team, but it was done over two seasons. My issue is that Deion didn’t give most of them a fair chance, and he set a brutal precedent that many other coaches will follow. And that’s bad for athletes.

Two - humiliating Mark Pope in front of a nationwide audience and having it available for decades to come is just brutal. Brutal. You think he’d be smiling and approving if another coach dismissed Shedeur or Shiloh the same way? No, he would be livid. Should Shannon, Golden, or Richt have brought in ESPN to live-air a player’s dismissal, and make certain it was posted on YouTube for everyone’s enjoynment? That’s crap.

And that’s why I don’t like him.

As for the rest of it, the glasses, the stamping on the logo, the throne…I actually like it. It’s swagger. Some of it is arrogant. Some of it is funny. It reminds me of the attitude of Canes teams I grew up watching under Jimmy. I don’t have a problem with it.

But the two points above - that’s why I don’t like him.

Bro I can respect that. Those are laid out facts 👌

It depends how he does it. If it’s through high level recruiting and judicious transfer portal usage that’s not above the norm now that he has a baseline roster, then it shouldn’t be a cause for concern.

But if he tells 30-40 players that’s transferred in, “Sorry, you’re not Louis anymore”, they’re kind of out of luck. They already used their one time free transfer, so they are forced to re-enter the portal either having to wait a year, or in the case of players with one year of eligibility their
college careers are now over.

I don't understand the hate for one man on this board. This is a Miami board. If you going to
Post something on prime. Please don't leave out he's generated over 90 million for Colorado athletic department n 3 games. Stick with Miami peoples
My issue is he’s full of crap. Dude preached about having top athletes staying at HBCUs and bolted the first chance he got. He basically used JSU to help get a job offer. JSU did benefit, I won’t deny it. His intentions weren’t genuine in my eyes. He’s all about himself and his kids which is fine, but I’m not gonna act like he’s some type of prophet

Forget the portal. Coaches have been running off players since Rockne roamed the sidelines. The issue is how you do it. You don’t publicly embarrass them & if possible you help them find a landing spot.

Okay I understand how you feel about the hbcu thing. You go from 400 grand a yr to 5 million a yr. Do the math. One more thing. What coach doesn't take an opportunity like that. Yes it was a stepping stone. You would have did the same thing. I can respect how you feel. Well noted
