Why, just to get kids to play? There’s 2 national title worthy teams. Clemson and Bama. The other 2 teams are just there to get beat down.
I wish the guys opted out before we played themSuratt opted out too

My comment was directed towards someone who said that bowls are worthless. I agreed.
My response to his comment on the worthlessness of the bowls has very little to do with "getting kids to play", but it is pretty obvious that three dozen bowl games that MEAN NOTHING are not exactly creating motivation. Players have started to figure out that they have been monetarily exploited for 100 years, and they are getting tired of it, particularly when they are one useless game away from making it to the NFL.
Making all of the post-season games actually count might just be a step in the right direction.
And the nonsense of "only Clemson and Alabama are worthy" is just horsesh!te.
Whoever wins a 16-team playoff would be pretty **** worthy of the national title, and if that happened to be Clemson or Alabama, so be it.

A paraplegic would have ran for 180 yards with the size of those running lanes. Dudes were regularly 10+ yards downfield before being touched.Wish UNC RBs had opted out of the Miami game lol
8 and 16 is pointless. There’s 2-3 teams that can win a natty every year.
College football is slowly deteriorating. We should all opt out 2021, we KNOW who are the 4 TEAMS next year. They need to fix this soon cause i won't be watching. THANKS for the NFL

I agree. If there is a tournament style rather than 100000 bowls, there will be something to play for. you guys say why doesn't bama and clemsn have this issue? its bc they're playing for a title. they're playing for something. Kyle Pitts opted out for UF. the ny6 is basically meaningless if you're guaranteed to get to the league. like a poster said, Jake butt tearing his ACL is pretty much why I wouldn't recommend anyone playing the bowl if they're going to the league
Would be a major upgrade over Fournette running into the back of linemans and missing huge holes and I don’t think even McCoy knows where he is going once he gets the ball. It’s like he is scared of a defender breathing on him. Meanwhile, Vaughn trips over his own feet as soon as he gets the ball. He still has hope thoughCarter on the Bucs plz @brock @plantcity3
I've been in favor of 8 or 16 for a long time, mostly because I enjoy as many high-stakes CFB games as I can get.
But let's be real, there were probably only 3 teams deserving of making a playoff this year. And that's almost every year. You have true cream of the crop at spots 1 or 2, and maybe 3, and then you're trying to find the shiniest ****.
I may be blind but Florida could have beaten Bama. Maybe the game Saturday was a replay from a game played in the 1990's or something but I didn't see the ole ball coach. Why, just to get kids to play? There’s 2 national title worthy teams. No, it's just a different dynamic that we better get use to. It's stresses the need to get younger players game reps during the regular see season because they will see reps in the bowl game. It’s wack. College football is quickly going down the tube

Also, allows teams who stumble early even with two losses to get hot and get a shot.
