Opens -21.5 vs WF

Did quick chatgpt research and since 2016 its 52% for spreads that close between 20-24.5

Road favorites covering a 21+ spread

But I found it wild that you said 7.4% because it also says that road favorites in the 17.5-24 point bucket since 1997 have lost outright 7.4% of the time (quoted from a Phil Steele research article)

It’s really weird, because my daughter goes to an SEC school and 50% of the people I meet didn’t go to school there but are still allowed to be fans!
A few people called this guy out and he immediately wanted to throw up his hands and play innocent.
Same was true in Ann Arbor. At least half of the non-students never graduated from Michigan.

I never never understand why this is like a dig or a talking point. Does anyone on this board who didnt go to UM feel slighted by this? I did get a degree from the U so this ish doesnt apply to me but like as an alum I think its cool we can get an entire city behind us because we are a bad *** team even though a lot of our fans never went. Like okay Wake, how many fans do you have that didnt go to school? None? All your fans are alumni? Okay. Now it just seems like a cult and the only way people root for you is if they went to school there because if they didnt, they think yall suck. I dont get it.
yeah, i'm a UM grad and i always thought it was awesome that we had so many fans who went to FIU, dade, etc. felt like the city as a whole had love for the team. and that was when we sucked too lmao

I don't think I know anything about our defense yet. Today is the first actual test.
With two starting cornerbacks out and no Bain/Mesidor along the DL I think it's very safe to say our defense is not as good as last year...

We should still be very good and fine. It's not time to panic if we aren't as good as last year's unit.

Line is crazy. Lotta respect being put on Mario by Vegas which you have to love.

I just think this Wake Forest offense will be able to move the ball enough to keep this closer than we'd like. Especially with banged up secondary.

41 - 27 type game IMO.

You think we give up more points than Purdue did in regulation?
