The opening spread at Pinnacle was LSU -5 and it's now LSU -5.5

You can go line shopping and find a rogue line off a point elsewhere, but that's the real line. As the game gets closer, other casinos will likely converge their lines to Pinnacle's, not the other way around. I see some LSU -6 available and Bovada (a garbage outfit) has LSU -6.5. I think it's inflated and recency bias from last night is driving this line as high as it is. If it gets to LSU -7, I will bet on Clemson +7.

Clemson beat Taint. We can thank them for that.

Now we need Orgeron to humble Dabo’s fabulously dirty program so we have a snowball’s chance in **** of snagging Joe Brady.

why would LSU winning have anything to do with us getting Brady?

This plays right into Dabo's "nobody respects us" mantra.
I think the coaching advantage certainly goes to Dabo especially since him and his players have played in title games many times before, but LSU is on a mission man they’re absolutely rolling rn.

It can definitely go either way and I think this should be a very entertaining game from start to finish.

He has to win at LSU first so he can “move on” to the next step.

Besides, I did say “snowball’s chance in ****”. There are one or two board posts this morning about him wanting to come back here to coach for the right price.

Like the above poster wrote: he ain’t coming to this dumpster fire.
