Dear ********:

Thanks for nominating three more 'Canes: Ken Dorsey, Ray Lewis, and Dan Morgan. All deserving of accolades for their outstanding college football careers.

Putting that aside, you continue to snub Howard Schnellenberger, one of the admittedly greatest coaches in the history of the college game, and one who is much more deserving than many of the generic and forgettable names who have made it through your front door.

That you reject Coach Schnellenberger for the most bureaucratic, illogical, and asinine of excuses, pretty much makes your organization about as legitimate as one of the ******* kids of King Henry VII.

Howard is a legend. His success and achievements as a builder of programs, speaks for itself. To deny Coach Schnellenberger a place in the hall of fame, is like rejecting the greatness of Ernest Hemingway as an author because you didn't care for "Across the River and Into the Trees."

So either fix it, or go the way of all those other ignoramuses who find themselves stinking up the place as they decompose on the wrong trash heap of history.

Sincerely,

Those of the rest of us with IQ's above room temperature.

Uh-oh, it's only a matter of time before 1LuvCane, Empirical, and JD08 show up to derail this thread.

You've been warned.

(PS, yes, they have a silly rule on required winning percentage for coaches, which Howard does not meet. The rules should be changed, but it's gonna be a while, if ever.)
