OOS targets

Wasting time and money. OL, QB fine. And maybe DTs. Everybody else is down here.

Formula has always got to be SF first, rest of FL next, then hit, CA, LA, GA, NJ. We have lost Texas where we were solid until about 10 years ago.

I think this is actually the year where we literally don't need to leave Florida lol

Not going to lie if we heavily recruit oos kids this year ill be ****ed.

Aside from Upshur and Irvin Jr. at TE, I completely agree. The only OOS kids who should be pursued are truly elite level athletes if they have legitimate interest. No coal shovelers or Golden camp specials.

If the kid wants to come here go get em no matter where he is
Bull ****, no more Golden coal shovelers from Massachusetts......that he stole from the Citadel

Let me rephrase if the kid can play

Im good with that but not this year. Theres way too much talent in the state to even get into oos kids. It was very troubling to see how hard the staff went for oos players this past cycles and came away with a big zero.

Im not saying dont recruit locals at all, if the kid can ball and has interest recruit him, im tellin yall we need those OOS kids too

This is the type of scenario that scares me: Golden and Co find some linebacker they like from OOS that isn't any better than the local options, the kid drags it along, we lose out on some of the guys we have because they think we are bull****ting them, and then we lose out on the OOS kid too. Would be CLASSIC Golden.

That's usually how it plays out. Then we settle For Jimmy Smalls a 6 foot 170 pound LB from Brunswick. The kid has a high IQ though and a motor.
