Ooh , it's on and cracking. against Clemson.

I think it's largely personnel. I know people debate Baker and Rumph, but the difference between now and 2017 is the players.
Somewhat true, some of those players are still here! and, with more experience. but we've added better players to the ones we had in 17'

Go watch our last game vs. Clemson. Lovely delayed blitzes there for you to enjoy.
I saw them as well, but I like I said I don’t think we see them as much against Clemson, I think Manny will change that in scheming and gameplanning for the Clemson game.

What the **** is the point in having a DC if the HC has to take over in tough games?
That’s not a question for me but rather Manny Diaz to answer. Diaz is a defensive coach, so I’m sure that especially in planning a matchup against the #1 team in the country he will have a huge role in scheming and adjustments for this game. I’m not opposed to him doing so and I don’t know any Canes fan who would be.

I believe I read that Jimmy Johnson (and I’m sure others) advises him to have a defensive coordinator and that it’s always best for the HC not to double their workload and stretch themselves by being the coordinator of any of the 3 aspects of the game. It also serves as a buffer of sorts and keeps the HC flexible enough to have a bird’s eye view of the entire team landscape.

Personally I don’t believe Baker is UM material, not for where we want and expect to go.

Keep Lawrence in the pocket so our DL can eat. It will be won in the trenches.
Same thing I said, force em to be a pockect passer, play press-man, flush em to his left, he's not a good passer running to his left, that's where his height works against him, trying to reset up, early on our defensive calls need to be smart cause I'm sure their OC is going to try and use our aggressiveness against us early to slow us down or make a big play. This is a game where it's time for us to know jon ford is on the field with the rest of the boys, I'm not worried about his stats, etienne just needs to feel like he has to bounce everything outside.

While carter doesn't have the ideal fluidity he does a solid job in coverage but primarily he'll be involved somewhere in a turn-over, he just needs to not overestimate his speed and go earlier when he see's what he see's. Going to be an interesting game, if the game is close at halftime, this will tell us alot about our coaching staff, I could already tell before the 1st game rhett lashlee had common sense, so it's easier for him to make adjustments in game and at halftime. The whole thing I'm looking at is what is the real mentality of this coaching staff, they smelt Blood in the water against FSU and than proceeded to do what we had to do.

Now its time to really see in the not to distant future!

What up man, the blitz was that was called against FSU when frenchy was the qb where finley and redwine blasted his *** and the blitz the last FSU game where couch disguise his kind of well and bolden got the sack, that's the same blitz and the proper one that should've been used on that 4th & 17, not the blind side variety where press-man was played but zone was called on the strong-side.

Game will come down to how well our secondary is...

If they will score and we will score.

Big game.

Let's have them Canes step up to the big stage. Produce.

Reminded me of the Booger M. meme.
