atl, we were fixing to hire Butch when Richt was fired, had UGA waited another week Butch would be our coach and we would not be having these problems

No there is nothing to dispel from last night and I was not being a Richt apologist, but again my point is that the BD train has long left the station. To keep harping on it is just counterproductive. He is not going to be asked to come back, ever. Richt has an extension to 2023, and even in the event he is terminated before that time (let's say 2-3 years) BD he would then be about 68-69 years old. It's just not going to happen.

But Butch recruits better than anyone right?And you mean to tell me a **** hole university in bumfck Indiana has more talent than a GOD’s team in the greatest recruiting ground on earth? How many years does butch get before he was more talent than Indiana?

This is only his 2nd season. By next year you will see his team make it's big jump.

Even then at FIU in the Sun Coast he won't have access to talent like Indiana does as a P5 program Big10.


But he will ball the fvck out no doubt. You must be either a youngin or a sperg.

Completely agree. Butch isn’t nor shouldn’t be he only option. Those calling his name are stuck back in 1998. There are plenty more established, better coaches for today’s game than he or Chud. To put all our eggs into one basket again is putting ourselves back into the pigeon hole we’ve found ourselves in these past 15yrs. If Richt isn’t the answer, go find a young, experienced coach that understands today’s game and hire him. Enough with the Butch is God crap, he was great for us back 20yrs ago. He’s not the only answer today.
