Name a few of themLol
We have plenty of guys that will play on Sundays and have great careers. They are just led and coached by frauds.
I don't see him panning out.Don’t do Borregales like that
Guys that’ll make a roster ? Yeah, studs ? Pro bowlers or starters ? There’s not many, I keep telling people until we get game changers we’re are ****ed. Game changers are the guys who are going to kill the minute they step in the huddle, even meh coaching can’t f that up.Lol

Define 'great'.Lol

No doubtI mean, I agree with your overall point. I was just disagreeing with the Op. We have more than one “NFL guy” and SEVERAL of these guys will go on and have much better careers and looo much better in the NFL just like it has been the case for the past 10+ years.
No lies. We aren’t even getting consistent greatness from the good players we do have...Guys that’ll make a roster ? Yeah, studs ? Pro bowlers or starters ? Discounting the Freshmen, because I haven't seen enough of them, we have a handful of guys that will have reasonable NFL careers. Mostly on the Dline.
I can't remember the last 'great' Miami Hurricane to play for us. Even Duke Johnson has been mediocre in the NFL (not always down to him).
He's gotta be the first punter in history to announce thatAlso hedley just announced on his IG he’s coming back
Can you name a few of these guys?I mean, I agree with your overall point. I was just disagreeing with the Op. We have more than one “NFL guy” and SEVERAL of these guys will go on and have much better careers and looo much better in the NFL just like it has been the case for the past 10+ years.
Who are these guys?Ok, so you disagree with the Op as well.
After last night, it’s a huge announcementHe's gotta be the first punter in history to announce that![]()
No. Off the top of my head, I think the following will at least be good NFL players (good being defined as multi-year NFL starters / rotational starters):Ok, so you disagree with the Op as well.
Who are these guys?
Please help me understand.
No. Off the top of my head, I think the following will at least be good NFL players (good being defined as multi-year NFL starters / rotational starters):
Rousseau
Phillips
Jordan
Mallory
Harrison-Hunte
After that there's a bunch of guys that could enter that category if they take the next step, but they're too young for me to judge just yet. It's not a talent loaded roster by any means though.
Brevin for a year or two, maybe.Roche, barring injury will have a steady career as a 34 OLB.
Phillips, will flourish on the next level and we will all be saying “****, wish we could have had him for more than one year”
Brevin & Mallory both will be productive NFL guys as receiving TE’s
Bolden has regressed some just like every other kid that starts off hot and plays under this staff but he has shown what he is capable of. If Adrian Colbert and Rayshawn Jenkins can cut it in the league and be active for years and make a nice piece of change, so can he.
That is just a handful. Again, as you know, Miami has a rep that has been the case for a while now that these kids are coached terribly and will do better in the league than what they are showing now. If you think we only have practice squad guys then you are just being extreme and it is not even worth discussing.
Bottomline is, again, we have more than one guy like you originally stated.
