I really don't care about the spread as long as we win....BUT I'm really surprised that it's that much lower than it was against FSU 14. Especially after our spectacular comeback.

FSU has far greater talent and I feel that that victory should really gel this team offensively and defensively

Your thoughts

Thoughts are, from a national perspective we are somewhat of a paper tiger right now. If you look at the box scores we lost to the only decent team on our schedule, beat FIU by way less that we should have, and had a 1 point win over a dreadfully poor fsu team when favored by 13 or 14 at home.

Seems like a reasonable spread to me. I hope we whoop their *** and blow them out but I won't be surprised at all if we don't.

On the road at night vs a solid opponent. Any of our south florida freshman ever felt 40 degrees? lol

But we'll be fine and take care business

They have an athletic QB and they are at home? Sometimes we make these QB's look like All Americans.

Miami is 1-4 ATS with 3 outright losses the the week after FSU over the last five years. Couple that with our OL issues and RS Freshman first road start. Vegas knows what it's doing.

LMAO. I was negged into oblivion for saying we should have scored more against FIU.

So are you saying because Vegas misses on a few spreads and doesn't go 100% all the time they don't know what they are doing? Guess that's why they have massive resorts out there because they are never right.

Makes sense there could be a let down...BUT with the way we won I think chances are greater that we'll be energized ( especially w/ no injuries too) ....instead of let down.

Also if Kosi can keep his cool down 27-7 vs. our Arch rival....seriously doubt the Wahoo's will rattle him

I just don't see it

They really haven't played anyone of note

vsRichmond W42-13

@Indiana L20-16

vsOhio W45-31

vsLouisville W27-3

@NC State L35-21

Have a lot of respect for Vegas odd makers but I just don't see this being close

On paper I totally agree with you and if we can get the turnovers rolling on Defense we should wipe the floor with them. It just seems like our offense is really inconsistent and relies heavily on turnovers to get going. Last week it showed against FSU that the offense finally woke up after Redwine's strip sack. Vegas just playing a trend here and road game with a young QB to entice some movement on betting.

It’s going to be a dogfight , all the ingredients are there for an upset or at least a nail biter.

You forgot to mention special team issues which is even words than OL. Have the usual slow start keeping the home crowd in the game could make this game closer than most of us would like. I will be happy with a win. Hate these close games though. Bad for my heart

Miami is a much better team than Virginia but they're not nearly as good on the road in recent years as they are at home. They came out flat against a pretty bad FSU team last week and the hangover from that win is a realistic issue this week. I like Miami to cover 6.5 but I'm not shocked to see the spread this small.

Side note: Florida is just a 7 point favorite at Vandy tomorrow, coming off a big win vs LSU. Maybe Vegas sees a lot of hangover games thsi weekend.
