That game was played in a torrential downpour
Difference... September 8th, and Rutgers. Cane fans had a history of not showing up when they KNEW we would win against teams like Rutgers. We have now been starved for winning Cane football for over a decade, and this is the last home game of the season. We'll have closer to 65K than 39K.

It's possible. This is slightly uncharted territory. Temple 2003 = 49,144 at the OB is the closest. Miami ranked #2 coming off the Soak at Doak.
I was at that game. No way there was 49k.

I was there. ******* Corrollo and him closing the beer stands after half. What a ****.
Not trolling. I'll believe 55k when I see it.
This is like a Rutgers game in the old Big East days. Nooners are a tough sell, half of Miami is only about three / fours hour into their sleep at noon.
Night game, I would believe it.
