Only 1000 tix left for Virginia

I watched the crappy Tuesday & Wednesday night games on Espn & they promoted our game against Virginia every chance they got. It was non-stop. During time out, injury delay replay delay, comming back from commercials. I can honestly say I never thought I'd see the day espn would be promoting a Miami game, with a noon kickoff, against 6 win Virginia, with pictures of the turnover chain & the headline "the U is back".. as THE game they want everyone watching.
What a perfect time to pack the stadium.

Same. I flipped to Toledo-Bowling Green and they were talking about the turnover chain while plays were happening.

The actual actual attendance will be 40k.

I don't really understand a post like this, so you claim to be a Miami fan, but make a post like this...why, what satisfaction does it give you?

why you gotta be sensitive? the man is telling the truth. you guys often live in the clouds....not in reality. he's right, and for some reason you're salty about him being right.

stop crying

I didn't ask you.

man shut yo *** up, QuatoCane

Too bad you’re not as smart as you are clever.

There's still a ton of tickets available on the secondary market. Lots of season ticket holders bought packages but don't attend every game. Some try to sell them on stub hub, others just don't go. I'm hoping to see over 50k people there Saturday.

Not trolling. I'll believe 55k when I see it.

This is like a Rutgers game in the old Big East days. Nooners are a tough sell, half of Miami is only about three / fours hour into their sleep at noon.

Night game, I would believe it.

I concur.

I hope there are but assuming there's going to be a huge turnout for a noon game against Virginia is pretty much ignoring all of Miami's attendance trends since the Howard years. Maybe 2017 is the season apathetic UM fans actually start showing up in droves for ho-hum conference opponents? I'm not trying to **** in any cheerios or be a debbie downer, I'm just making an estimation based on averages over the last 30 something years. I'll even take some crowd shots at the game Saturday.

I said 45k earlier in the week (actual). I think we get the 55k. Senior day. UM is undefeated. Little hype around any other Miami teams. Turnover chain. Cheap tickets. Bandwagon fans want to say they attended a game in case we win it all, etc. many factors leading to a good turnout. Team exceeding expectations. People want to be a part of it.
This team deserves it.

Guys like you have been wrong on literally every one of your predictions this year. Why make another one that I already know is going to be incorrect?

I'll enjoy your tears on Saturday, although theres no chance you'll own your prediction

Who the **** are you? I haven't made any predictions about anything this whole season. All I'm saying is that UM fans don't tend to turn out in huge numbers for noon games against mediocre opponents. If you can find any shred of evidence to prove that statement wrong, please do.

Why would I be in tears on Saturday? I'll be at the game. Like I have for every home game this season and every home game for the better part of the last 15 years. I'm sure I'll see you there though.

First you're asking people to message you, then you're making small talk about being back on the board and not talking to people for a long time, and now you're including selfies with your posts. When will it end?

We never announced a sellout for a noon Rutgers game, did we? Was it ever even close?
