If true I'm not super surprised. I was actually thinking about making this my one game down after ND fell through with my buddies. I won't be able to afford the ACCCG, or any playoff games if we make it, and would want to see our team at home for this breakout year.

Agree..You get 55k-60k for a noon game in SoFla against an opponent the average bandwagon fan doesnt care about and you have to consider that a sellout. LOL. Rome wasnt built in one day folks. Will take time to grow the base and get steady crowds like we had against ND and VT. Lets be happy that we went from having about 35k in attendance for SR day last year to now having well over 50k.

Even when we were great we didn't sell out noon games against the Virginias, Dukes, and GTs of the ACC. Getting anywhere near 60K is HUGE.

Yep. People are buying up tickets to not show up. Makes perfectly good sense. Last home game of an undefeated season, tickets selling out, and a full 1/3 not showing up. This isn't 2012.
