One young DC that intrigues me

Is Marcus Freeman at Cincinatti. Guy is around 32 years old and been a DC at Cincinatti the last two years. They were 7th in scoring and 8th in total defense this year. He played lb at Ohio State and was also a co-dc/lb coach at Purdue for several years before Cincinatti but he's a very good young and upcoming coach. May be a midwest guy only but you never know.

I'm sure not many on this site know much about him. What kind of defense does he play? 3-4? 4-3? Attacking?

This hire can’t just be about coaching, Diaz was great for the most part in that aspect and had the top defense overall in the country in many categories YET STILL COULDNT close on recruits NO MATTER HOW WELL THE GROUP PERFORMED. That’s a problem so it’s not all about X’s and Os, you got to get someone who can recruit at an elite level especially in south Florida...

I’ve longed felt even with this staff that Miami has had a problem of relating with kids down in south Florida, hiring someone like co dc Corey raymond/ co Michael barrow would be the best of both worlds and they are great recruiters. You KNOW they will relate with the players down in south Florida

Upvote for Corey Raymond. We get him, we get everybody. Would help us get Tyrique IMO.
