One problem with Cristobol

The guy is the former OL coach of Alabama. We just had the former QB coach of Alabama. We previously had a former HC/OC of Georgia. People complained that they need HUGE productive O linemen to be effective. Would we just complain that Cristobol can't succeed with our type of O line? Would they also say that the reason Richt/Crisotbol can't recruit for us is that they need BIG money like Bama/Georgia/Oregon?

Perception is one thing and performance is another. You simply can't argue with what he's done in a short amount of time at Oregon. He really would turn us around and it wouldn't take forever to make it happen, either.

Again. Would he? How does the Oregon o line compare to ours? Could he recruit without the state school bagmen?

mario just returned 17 starters with a 1st round draft pick QB in the worse conference of the Power 5, and couldn’t make the playoffs. Crushing it.

Um, he WON his division and his Conference, is ranked 6th in the country and will be at least 5 if he beats Wisky and this is after taking over for the black Manny. I've said it before, he's the Cuban Butch. Can recruit like crazy, instills toughness in his team and most importantly, esprit de corps. We're too unlucky to get him, but if we pulled a rabbit out of the hat and got him here in the next couple weeks, we would immediately become good and relevant again. It may take a couple seasons to get us in the playoffs, but there's no reason to think we could have a real go of it, once T-Law leaves Clemson.

First, its "worst", not "worse."

Secondly, the ACC proudly wears the title of "worse" conference in college football.

Yeah, he sucks up there. Just won the conference in year two, will most likely finish in the top 5 and will be a Rose Bowl champ.

You dopes need to get over your hate for Mario because he bailed on the **** show here. Only a moron would have stayed here while being offered the Associate Head Coach title at Bama. He knew if he wanted to become a big time successful head coach there was no better place to learn than at Bama and in the SEC West.
