hardly. Bad loss but hey, playing for conf championship next week. IDGAF who you are, I am happy with 10-1 and in ACC championship
 
We are going to get punished HEAVILY for this loss. If it comes down to 4th spot, a 2 loss OSU or Auburn team (if they win out) probably gets in over a 1 loss acc champion Miami. A road loss to a 4-7 Pitt team, where we were dominated in all 3 phases is a brutal loss. I won't be surprised if we are #8 or worse on Tuesday night.

So losing to a Pitt team at 4-7 to ruin an undefeated season and keeping us out of the playoffs/championship shot isn’t a historically bad loss? Odd logic.

No doubt. Only two loss team that should jump ahead would be an Auburn if they win tomorrow.

Wait and see. When Clemson played Cuse, they were 4-3. This Pitt loss is going to weigh heavily.

Give me a break. Not even close. This has been an extremely important stepping stone season. I'm not giving up on our playoff chances but we still have many holes and I've been enjoying the narrow escapes and overachieving. Miami entered today 106th in the nation in rushing attempts per game. That means we can't physically impose on anybody. Today a blue collar team had more energy and mostly pushed us around. That's why I'm not a fan of RPO as exclusive offense. It should be a blend.

Last week I was in Naples for an LPGA golf tournament. What a difference from recent years. I was receiving one positive comment after another for my Canes shirts and hats. "Wear that proudly." Stuff like that. Meanwhile the Gator and Seminole fans either weren't wearing their stuff at all, or looking away meekly as soon as they saw me. That's the impact from this type of season.

Yeah, we'll take a hit today. Understandable and proper. I'm in Orlando tonight and when I venture out wearing Canes stuff I expect some wisecracks. Bring them on. I'm never weak in one on one.

A worst loss in history is when you are absolutely the best yet give it away and it will forever sting...Penn State '86 season
