It's my opinion that it will allow Perry to relax a little to start. Won't be the enormous buildup of a Primetime kickoff.

I know our defensive energy has historically skyrocketed at night.

However, we don't need momentum to beat them. We just need to execute and let talent take over. Not making mistakes because of primetime jitters.

I'm very interested to see how the crowd is on Saturday. If i recall correct this is the first really "big" 3:30 game we've had since the roof has been added. I've been to every home game since it's been on and the contrast between the night and day games is uh...night and day. I know the crowd will be pumped up but there's something spooky that happens at night in the rock, if you've been you know what i mean.

FIU was also a 3:30 start so Perry and the team have prepared for it.

Seeing FSU's sideline get battered by the sun in the first half will be SO cash.

That's essentially the point I was making.

We don't need a "big/spooky" environment to beat them. We just need to execute.

Oh I agree with you, execute and stay disciplined and we win.

But If this was a night game though it would probably be the most confident i'd be about a game this year outside of SSU, FIU and Toledo.

Perry will be fine whatever time it is. His first throw against UNC in prime time was an absolute dime.

To me the advantage was stated above. Using our depth to bury them in the sun.

The only advantage I see is I'll be able to get back home with plenty of time to spare before I watch Khabib maul Conor. If it was a night game, it would be a close call to making it back in time to watch.

I’ll concede OP may have a point.

The only way we lose this game, in my opinion, is a bunch of mistakes from Perry. Things like pick sixes, too many interceptions, fumbles etc.

Hopefully none of our players are dehydrated. Looking at you JT4. Time to start chugging TODAY!

I do love to see how half the field gets shade & the visitors have to sit in the sun all day

weather looking like we might get rain around that time too
Thunderstorms was the forecast earlier this week, now it seems to be partly cloudy, 89 degrees. I still do not think the color of the unis or weather plays a major role unless, of course, it rains. Plus, hopefully, we get the shade part of Hard rock. The team just has execute and be aware that it ain’t over, thill it’s over. This includes CMR, who we know plays conservative when the going is good.
