7 spots to get to 25, but only 5 roster spots if no one else leaves.
According to the article a while back Manny was saying they might have as many as 27 spots. So 9 empty slots today.
Here's to hoping those spots aren't 7-9 one year portal rentals.

It's sad because there is plenty of dead weight that needs to be cut off - except we can't even snag better recruits to replace them.

I get the way you meant it, but I actually think it did work out. Does this mean that you have to hit on every single transfer in order to be successful? No.
I am actually hopeful about transfer season and have a gut feeling that we will land someone solid and unexpected through the portal this offseason.

No I just wouldn’t want to play for a team that went 6-6 maybe 6-7 and lost to 4 ****** teams and barely beat Central Michigan.

As ****** as we were this year, I think a couple decent contributors and a scheme adjustment and we could come out significantly better next year due to how little we lose from this year's roster, and the maturity of an extremely young O Line.
