On to 2026

Are we still thinking that FSU will be week 1? They don't have Bama until 9/19 so its open for them. Don't like playing them week 1.

Now that we have Moten coming back and Wilson coming in, and assuming we get Mensah and Spida, I'm beginning to think the floor is realistically 11 wins in the regular season. We will give ND all they can handle and more when we play them.

On D, we bring back all of our 2 deep at corner, our starting LB who could be playing his 4th year in the NFL should injuries have gone a different way, and now, the best DL in the country with a 2nd string that would probably be top 20 in the nation if they started.

We get Mensah and Spida WITHOUT Seaton and we ride!! If we actually do get Seaton... I mean.... that's just silly...

But we seem to lose to teams we shouldn't. Miami culture is to step up against marquis opponents. I can see us beating all marquis opponents in 2026, but this team really needs to light a fire under its rear if it wants a perfect season.

@ND is the only real challenge.

@Clemson @Wake can be potential trip up games.

Duke, FSU, Pitt, and VT being at home is a good thing - can go 4-0 there no doubt.

I’ll say 10-2 with 1 being OOC in ND and one of Wake/Clemson. Still going to the ACC title though in that scenario.

ND is going to be very tough in South Bend especially with how things played out end of year. Can't wait for that game and wouldn't be surprised if we still take it to them. Would love to go 9-0 in conference but understand that's difficult. A trip to Charlotte with a win is obviously the regular season goal.

IMO-
Miami at Clemson determines if we make the acccg, Miami at ND gives us the only chance to make it if we don’t win the acc.

UVA NCSt UNC all start out if country. Those teams tend to suffer greatly.

9 acc: Miami, Pitt, Cal, Duke, UL(11 p4 games), ncst, SMU, Stanford, Cuse, UVA, VT, wake
8 acc: bc(11 p4 games), Clemson(2 sec), FSU(2 sec), GT (11 p4 games, 2 sec), UNC

I’ll predict Miami vs SMU for the acc. Now that could be off if the acc tiebreaker is still messed up due to the 8 gamers. Clemson could sneak into the acccg.
