on second thought, f#$k Jordan Scarlett

I'm beginnings to think there was some plan sabotage by scarlett. We got rid of all the other rb commits for him and he was reportedly recruiting for UF at the all star game. who knows. he may of been recruiting for uf the whole time committed to um. if true, he hates golden even more than i do.

We have the dumbest fanbase in college football. The same dopes crying about people hurting recruiting are now bashing a 17-year-old kid for doing what he's been expected to do for the last month or so.

At least we're still #1 in the country at something.

- Voicing displeasure with head coach and administration following 7 losses and no changes: "U is hurtin recrootin!!"

- Kid decides to go to a different school: "**** dis peace of shlt, bro hope he tears his em cee el, bro"

You're one of the main people I've seen on here bashing lol

I'm not wishing injury on the kid, but I think he'll get run into the ground by McElwain, just like Ingram/Richardson did when he was OC at Bama. He might do good up at U***, and he will definitely be the featured RB, but he'll be ruined by the time comes for him to go to the league. Too many miles on the tires. On that front--it was a dumb decision, so he deserves whatever comes his way.

**** Redwine, too. What kind of low character kid switches that late in the game, regardless of circumstances?

This kid should have honored his word to Louisville and not abandoned his commitment so late in the game.

Karma is a bltch!

Different circumstances. This staff did Redwine like that one CB who was considering us and UK then goes to Fswho did. Redwine was a break glass in case of emergency kid and I PROMISE Jaquan was in Al office begging for an offer for his boy after enrollment. Scarlett was committed til dann near the day before NSD and flipped
What the fck does any of that have to do with the price of tea in China?

Both guys flipped late. One (Scarlett) actually had the decency to go to UM and tell them in person at least a week before signing day. Ever since McElwain was hired, he made Scarlett a priority, and it was obvious to everyone except Folden that Scarlett was very receptive to McElwain.

The other guy (Redwine) waited right till the end to flip. Dumb fans are vilifying Scarlett as a scumbag and propping up Redwine. LULZ at the dummies.

Can we at least all agree on saying "fvck you Scarlett" because he's a Gheytor now??? :kaaya:

Didn't Scarlett fumble 3 or 4 times during the all star game? He can take his fumbles to UF, not sweating over a guy that can't hold onto the rock.

Go watch that game--those fumbles were on Torrance Gibson who wasn't handing the ball off correctly at all. He was putting it on Scarlett's hip.

token cane told you guys that scarlett had informed UM he was gone a week before he publicly decommitted. He gave the staff plenty heads up and warning and actually did it in person...but ya he did it the wrong way and screwed golden.

A week in advance isn't plenty of heads up. He was committed for 9 months.

he didn't flip on the last day or a couple days before like most kids, and actually went and told the coaching staff in person which almost never happens.

the staff had a week to find a replacement....again, it could have easily been a lot worse and golden could have easily been left holding his **** in his hand...a lot of coaches were today, including coaches for kid(s) you guys flipped. I guess they are scumbags as well.

obviously not flipping would have been ideal, but if someone is going to flip late he did it about as good as it could be done

None of these jilted dudes were calling Scarlett names when he flipped from FAU to UM. Suddenly, they're all on a moral high horse trying to make distinctions without substance about how Scarlett's flip to ufayg was so much dirtier than everyone else's flips.

So there is no difference in flipping eight months out or three days out???? Seriously?????

Totally agree with the point you are making. The way I look at it now is **** Scarlett for not being a Cane, and I'm happy to have Redwine here as a Cane. I'm assuming you agree at least partially with that statement. So yeah, **** Scarlett for not wanting to be part of the solution here. I could never root for the Canes to lose under any circumstance ever. I understand some people want that for Golden to get canned, but I think that will happen regardless. It's just too toxic right now for him to be able to come out of this with his head above water. If it doesn't happen, hopefully Flake and the rest of them will be held accountable and the new Prez will restore order and clean house.

I understand there is no track record of accountability so these assumptions I'm making are pretty baseless, but I remain hopeful that this can happen. As long as I live I will want the Canes to sign as many elite players as possible and win as many games as possible

Why are people defending Scarlett, f*ck that F*ggot he is a gaytor. Thats why I say f*ck Scarlett; I don't give a rats *** if he had the decency to tell the coaches he was flipping. The fact is that he is now the enemy, and I wouldn't root for the sorry piece of sh*t for anything. Same goes with the rest of UF signees, Scarlett just holds a special place because he committed to us for a while, before signing with UF.

As far as I'm concerned if he wanted to be at Miami.. great. But he's not so I agree F*ck him. Wear the orange and green you got my support but if not i could care less. At the end of the day we got a true cane in Walton.

I wish the word committment meant something anymore but it doesn't so it is what it is. Full support of an early signing period, only revocable if a coach is fired or leaves or the coach grants permission to pull back.

Lol at our "own" fans sticking up for a USchool gator who trolled Miami, and that went to play for corch mcaldoodles who hasn't proven 1 thing as a major college coach that also left Miami shorthanded at RB right close to NSD.

Scarlett's an immature punk just like butthurt Wilson.

Fugg JS ...tear a knee up

The 6-7 record and how we ended the year is what caused him to leave

to go to a school that was 7-5 with a coach that hasnt done **** himself to prove that he is a decent coach? No there's more to it than 6-7. Could be Golden still, but regardless Miami is in better shape than UF. They have no QB and no OL. If Miami has anything those are the 2 things we have

Why are people defending Scarlett,
Well that's an easy one. This site is a free recruiting board. It doesn't cost anything to join. Therefore we are stuck with lots of noles, gators, cardinals, and even Miami fans that hate Miami more than all of them.
