Stephen A knows nothing about college football. It's sad when he pretends to. The same pretty much goes for all sports except for NBA.I normally think Kelly is a buffoon but at least he admits to not knowing or paying attention to Miami this year. I'd prefer that to some gasbag like Stephen A Smith who will go on a ten minute tirade about a subject he knows nothing at all about. Hot take sports reporting is the worst thing about being a sports fan in 2020.
He grew up in New York City. Not exactly a hotbed of football culture and expertise.Stephen A knows nothing about college football. It's sad when he pretends to. The same pretty much goes for all sports except for NBA.
omar kelly as a talent evaluator. stay in your lane bro nobody's lookin for your scouting report.just let us know the stats
Omar Kelly is a flake. Not sure why he's covering sports teams down here when it seems all he wants to do is throw shade. I'm not at all saying that he should be biased or show favoritism but it would be nice if once in a while he had something nice to say about the local sports teams.
Dude..
Adam Beasley isn't much better. Throw in hack Barry Jackson and you have a nice buffoon stew going.Between him and Salguero, I'm not sure there's another city or team with two worse reporters than Miami and the Dolphins.
He is the typical south florida local that Hates the hometown teams because of the attention they get. Basically a turn coat, my man covered the dolphins and hated at the same time.
I cant name a good south florida journalist down here honestly...a whole bunch of quacks. You know its sad when i like the old dude that is on at times with Le ba tard who i use to be forced to read his articles when ever i got in trouble at home by my old man or when i needed something to do in school for internal suspension. lol
And if I'm not mistaken, I don't think Hyde grew up down here either. He sounds like he's originally from the Midwest.Dave Hyde of the Sun-Sentinel is as good as it gets in South Florida.
Wouldn't give you a nickel for anyone else.
I literally laughed out loud bro! This was my exact same thought!Literally only clicked on this thread b/c I thought someone finally gave Omar a palm to his face. Must say I’m thoroughly disappointed.
Dude..
Yup! You're fired. Lazy Azzzz Journalism!I wonder how long I would keep my current position if, when asked about an important factor in the business environment I operate in, I said something similar.
Yea, sorry gentlemen, I’m not sure about competitive FACTOR X, I’ve been remodeling my house so I haven’t kept up with it.
I may not even last the day.
These idiots don’t operate in the real world, that’s why their reporting is such bullshlt, they live in a bullshlt bubble of their own making, the rest of the world has to deal with reality.
I agree with you on Kelly. I just don't get why all the disdain for our local teams. He is the typical south florida local that Hates the hometown teams because of the attention they get. Basically a turn coat, my man covered the dolphins and hated at the same time.

I think you're referring to Greg Cote. He's alright. Seems like he's been at the Herald forever. I'd probably have to say Edwin Pope (RIP) was the best sports journalist we've had down here as far as newspapers are concerned. I do enjoy reading Barry Jackson's write-ups. He usually puts out some good stuff. Aside from that, can't really think of anyone else I enjoy reading locally when it comes to our professional or collegiate teams.
