Miami -3.5 vs Ole Miss
UGA -3.5 vs Miami

So we’re rooting for Ole Miss, no? Not trying to be pussi but that is the easier matchup.

UGA is probably a better matchup.

Ole Miss’ defense is good.
Their offense is Top 5.

Miami isn’t built to have to score. And I could see Ole Miss forcing Miami to have to score.

Whereas UGA’s offense isn’t elite. And they play at a slower pace. Similar to OSU. So even if UGA is the better team, the pace eliminates some of that advantage.

We see that last night.
Beginning with their last drive of the first half, and not counting the garbage time drive to end the game, OSU moved the ball into scoring position on every drive but one.

If that game is a 5 quarter game, there’s a good chance OSU wins.
But Day plays at such a slow pace, much like Mario, rather than turn it into 5 quarter game, he turned it into a 3 quarter game.
And so by the time OSU figured it out, it was too late.

That’s a tailor made opponent for us. And UGA is a lot closer to that than Ole Miss.
