it's trueI heard a story tonight on ESPN radio that we showed up to the 2003 Fiesta Bowl with championship party flyers already printed. I either forgot that story or have blocked from my memory given the terrible ending to that game![]()

Yes Vinny played bad but…….We did. Vinny had other thoughts.
Sounds like a young Pete CarrollYes Vinny played bad but…….
We had the ball at the 3 yard line with 45 seconds left. We had a pretty good running back-Alonzo Highsmith-who was having a very good game running power. He had 119 yards on 18 carries. Yet inexplicably our brilliant coaching staff left the game up to a guy who had already thrown three picks. We passed, or tried to pass all of our remaining plays-including pick number four. If I were the HC/OC Highsmith would have had 122 yards on 19-21 carries and we would have won.
First you were teaching LSAT tips and now Latin American history? Hernan Cortes references? The **** is happening on CIS.Burn the ships.
I was literally screaming, “Run the f*cking ball”,the entire last four plays. Nobody listened.Sounds like a young Pete Carroll![]()
My man made all kinds of money in that game and it wasn't for his play...We did. Vinny had other thoughts.
eh, there's been a lot of stress and tension on that team. I'm sure they are just trying to keep everyone loose.
Three Games in Miami history that **** me off to this dayI take it you’re too young to remember the fiesta bowl vs Penn state, when we came for war?
