Ole Genron at it again

If an opposing coach is coming into South Florida and breaking rules, we should expect him to be outed.

Just like we should expect male pimps like Genron to ho out teenage boys.

Anyone who cant see what is going on at Champagnat with this cat is living in a dream world.

This school didn't even have a program a few years ago. It is a dubiously accredited diploma mill in a strip mall in Hialeah with no athletic facilities. And SUDDENLY, scores of the best football players in So Fla are all flocking there, AMAZINGLY, many with grade problems, who are suddenly getting amazing grades. OH, and the assistant coach of the team, is one of the most infamous street agent/hustlers in So Fla HS football who has admitted ON RECORD he takes money and pimps kids, and has been kicked off 7v7 teams for unethical behavior.

How can anyone seriously argue this cesspool of corruption anymore?

Champagnat must have some pretty darned good teachers given the way their students are reportedly improving their grades.

STrong accusations Boar....Im hurt brah...between you and the Heat I feel dead inside

Vern what's your take on this little pie of excitement?

Bruh assistant high school football coaches make like $1500 a year... If u expect a grown *** dude making that much money to have any kind of morals especially after seeing what these college do for the kids I don't know what to tell ya.... All he has is these kids mane so he immerses himself in the culture..at the end of the day he is gonna pride hisself on winning games and how he gets kids into college.. No matter how warped u think his thinking might be it's all he got so he gonna speak his mind.. I could careless about his tweets... We got much bigger problems mane.. Dudes like him don't have much of an effect on croots as u think

I disagree. When Miami loses out on 1-2 big time impactful recruits each year or 2, that adds up. Think about it - that's a group of 3-5 ELITE kids in a 4 year period. You may not think that makes a difference, but it does. JMO. Besides, it's not just "losing a recruit or 2". It's the constant negativity this guy spews and influences many kids.

Yep.
1. DT was our biggest need for 2014
2. Valentine was the best available down here
3. After hanging out at the U more than most other recruits, Genpop convinced him to head to L$U
4. We were left scrambling for Plan B and C.

Valentine did not want to play NT at 330 which is a smart move on his part and was smart to see our defensive struggles. There is a million Genrons around America. Him taking kids around america is a positive, giving kids more options and opportunities to see other places. Some just need to grow some balls and see we are simply getting out recruited. The issue with Genron if there is one, is something the Head Coach should have been took care of, as a fan base we ourselves need to stop looking for scapegoats.

If TV didn't want to play NT, then why did he commit to us in the first place? He was talking out of both sides of his mouth. On one hand it was "coaches told me what role I'd play and I'm excited about that" kind of comments and then it was the robotic "I don't want to play NT" garbage that he was obviously regurgitating. Do you think he just all of a suddenly started watching game film and realized?

Bingo. The NT and 330 thing was just bullsh*t. He knew what we ran and knew what we wanted him to do. He committed, and then later used the other stuff as an excuse. I don't know exactly what Valentine's main factor was, but with Genron in his ear and steering him, it seems very shady to me. Whatever it was, I never bought the "I don't want to play NT at 330". ****, remember the Bullsh*t story about how "at Miami I would have to come in and play right away, and at LSU I would have more time to learn things and ease into it"? LMFAO. First kid in modern HISTORY who DOESNT want early playing time. EL OH EL. I knew I had officially heard it ALL as far as bullsh*t went when Valentine actually used the excuse that he DIDNT want early playing time.

I dont think anyone has a problem of a kid seeing the world and other places. the problem is that his decsions is not based on his decisions. when a kid who is not mentally strong is repeatedly being told "hey, i know your heart is in this place but you can make millions at this place" the kid is going to talk about the Benjamins.

The PSU situation was a great cover up to decommit and they used to its advantage. no one else decommitted except for him. he could have easily called coach Golden in asked. He wanted to play for Miami but he wanted to take care of his moms more. L$U of take care of the fam.

We're getting out-recruited all right

I've got no problem with him taking the kids around but when he starts trashing the U is where I have a problem. Other than paying genron not sure what golden could do to stop this.

A "Genron" apologist sighting! Way to scapegoat Golden to protect "Genron"!

No matter what you think of Golden, "Genron" and his ilk are a problem no matter who is coaching at Miami. These aren't good guys trying to get kids to see different places, these are people using highschool football players to get paid. So sad that people will go to such lengths to defend this guy...

What?
Valentine was scheduled to come to the U AFTER his LSU trip. Genpop wasn't gettin love from our staff and told the kid not to visit. Guess what... Valentine did not step foot on our campus. We never saw him again. That's not being outrecruited. That's our staff not "re$pecting" Genpop enough and him flexing his muscle through a kid.

The only excuse TV made was forming a better relationship with battle (who should of been a cane but he was too slow when he was an outstanding track athlete). I'm a die heart cane but lets put you guys in TVs shoes as his parents, would you send an elite DT to UM? Yes UM offers a great education but in this time education is a dime of dozen where you can graduate from literally any school and make a living after college, depends on the person. The main objective of most recruits are to get to the league and make millions of dollars to provide for family. Which school LSU or UM would give him that opportunity easier. I also had a middle man similar to Genron when I was being recruited and if it was not for him there's no way I would have had the opportunity to visit Bama.

A high school coach is just supposed to show the kid his options, and put the kid in contact with the schools he might want to go to; NOT be all in his ear saying he should go to this school, while that school is paying him! You must be the kind of kid that watches Friday Night Lights (the show, not movie), and thinks Vince's father is doing the right thing, compared to his actual coach, who really does have his best interest in mind... Genron could learn a thing or two about what its like to be a good coach/person from that show.

Is this guy really getting paid? He has had kids commit to BCS and non-BCS schools... I think he even had players commit to Cincy are they paying too? No one knows what went on with TV... I won't say he used the PSU situation as a scapegoat... We lost a olineman to Stanford, a Rb to UF and TV... Rumors were Yearby and Darling was contemplating a late switch(don't know how true it is)... That was just a bad week for Golden...
