Ole Genron at it again

STrong accusations Boar....Im hurt brah...between you and the Heat I feel dead inside

Vern what's your take on this little pie of excitement?

Bruh assistant high school football coaches make like $1500 a year... If u expect a grown *** dude making that much money to have any kind of morals especially after seeing what these college do for the kids I don't know what to tell ya.... All he has is these kids mane so he immerses himself in the culture..at the end of the day he is gonna pride hisself on winning games and how he gets kids into college.. No matter how warped u think his thinking might be it's all he got so he gonna speak his mind.. I could careless about his tweets... We got much bigger problems mane.. Dudes like him don't have much of an effect on croots as u think

then in your opinion what's the "much bigger problems" that we got n what can the staff do to get back in the game for the top kids in south Fl?

Poor coaching, a president who doesn't hold winning as a top priority, and the SEC taking over South Florida and I include FSU and OSU as SEC teams. We ain't never coming back mane....and I mean back as perennial contenders... We might have a year here or there but it's ova.. I know it's hard to hear...

One thing I've heard from coaches that would keep players here is our offensive system.. I know the football purists don't wanna hear this but man we gotta go to a read option style offense... Could u imagine Torrance Gibson running that offense down here? We needed an innovative mind and we got another Joe Paterno... He not gonna work here... We in the ACC mane we could win with that type of offense and coaching... Look at all the talent we have down here.. Harris, t Gibson, winky.... I admit I hate read option but after seeing the last 7 years of football I just wanna win again

**** that. It's not over. People bought into this ******* Ped state guy before he did a ******* thing and now feel like "oh if he can't do it no one can". ******* guys a bum as a head coach, plain and simplle. With the right head coach , everything will go back to normal.

Three sources told Yahoo Sports the photo was turned over to the NCAA by an individual with ties to the Miami Hurricanes athletics program. Should the NCAA determine Phillips improperly recruited during a mandated dead period, it could be considered a major NCAA violation.

Vern - I feel ya. I don't always agree with your view but am 100% in agreement with your sentiments. Many of us are still in denial that it's "ova" (as you say) and clinging to hope that we can regain our glory days //cue the Boss clip//. My doubts grow larger as the seasons roll by.

I really like Golden the administrator. I love his ability to use marketing and public relations to promote he program. I love the way Al handles the press and how he represents my alma mater. I like Golden's public passion for "The U" and his respect for what the program has accomplished over the years. I love that he has embraced the South Florida style of living (without divulging too much he is a huge cigar aficionado and can be found smoking a few sticks with locals during the off-season). But, the team plays like Penn State. There is very little dog in these boys. Those that have it coming in slowly lose their edge (not all, but many)...

I believe Golden deserves this season to demonstrate the product that he is capable of delivering; however, I have my doubts.

I disagree. When Miami loses out on 1-2 big time impactful recruits each year or 2, that adds up. Think about it - that's a group of 3-5 ELITE kids in a 4 year period. You may not think that makes a difference, but it does. JMO. Besides, it's not just "losing a recruit or 2". It's the constant negativity this guy spews and influences many kids.

I agree it's over, with the way recruiting is we can't compete period. The modern era of the twitter and all these other things killed UM football, I agree with Vern 100 even though it hurts.

Very fair and very balanced assessment. Probably one of the best I've read on this site.

This year will tell us a lot. If D struggles badly then either D goes or they both go

If D holds their own or improves tremendously then he will be safe.

If Genron is a good guy to Pete and others, I'd be really interested to see who else is on their good guy lists.....

terry porter?
bryan fortay?
manson?

even if we did rat them out how and why is that a bad thing??? i am sorry but if the fool is so dumb to be blatantly meeting with recruits in miami during a dead period then we would be bigger fools not to report him if we see it going on in front of our faces.

Lol at a grown adult in a leadership position at a high school publicly mocking "snitching". South Florida, ladies and gentlemen.
As a school leader he should be fired. Someone send the tweet to his AD and school principal.

If your school hires a guy like that then they don't give a **** in the first place. Just win championships until it collapses.

Bingo...they knew exactly what trash they were jumping in the sack with...

It's not, lets be honest.

Much of our fan base has their collective heads buried in the sand as it relates to the scummy recruiting underbelly, the $EC, and selective NCAA enforcement. Many of us know exactly how bad it is and realize that Miami will NEVER be able to compete on a remotely close playing field, much less equal.

My thinking, snitch or not, is that if the powers that be are as dirty as the rule breakers that are easily sliding by, f-k them all and even the playing field the best you can and force the assclowns to do their job.

Also, we are on probation and part of our penance is to uphold the high moral and ethical standards of the NCAA tradition by reporting anything that might tarnish that noble upstanding institution. LMFAO
