Old news by Brett McMurphy

Cribby vs the world now, the battle of our existence is on the line. Either Cribby wins and Miami returns to prominence or the media wins and the death of this program occurs.
That's alot of pressure on Cribby. This is why these guys don't always like to give info for this very reason.

I don’t recall any other schools having problems with AD candidates coming out and talking **** about a university… I assure you if it is true, Miami is not the only school that is a **** show. I find it odd it all comes out on us tho
Guys, if it smells like a **** show and looks like a **** show, it probably is a **** show.

The narrative is set. The only thing that can change that narrative are hires made that leave the school, fan base and players happy. All 3.

(When I say school, I don’t mean these BOT members sabotaging the process. ***** then )

When CIS finds out where that portion of the bot that wants to retain manny is hiding.

That’s all I needed to see to know this is bs.
Yeah. That’s what I was talking about last night. U got the “insiders” stirring the pot, cause they feel jilted. They releasing info to the masses that don’t hold UM in the brightest light. The real insiders are handling business tryna get the job done.

This reeks of Brett McMurphy reading CIS and cherry picking the opinion of some posters.

Even the notion that Miami may (may!) get serious about football, has them scared.

The old guard using a full court press in the media. This is good. Shows that they're desperate to preserve the power and influence, using their last resort to try and destroy the program and these critical hires. No one who is after Mario/Lane, is leaking this information.

yes, but isn't part of the "business of getting things done" managing the PR? No reason to let an already smeared Miami be bashed ruthlessly without counterbalancing that with some well thought out (but unrevealing) statements that negate the sh**show or circus image being put forth.

so let me get this straight....an AD at New Mexico who is from Miami would turn down the chance to:
make triple money
have **** ton more exposure
come back home
go to one of the most famous brands
what else can we add here.
So you would take a job with more pay, knowing you won’t have the support to do what you need/want to do and be a puppet for people who don’t know what they are doing and have a boss that doesn’t care and is weak and won’t support you and basically be set up to fail? Ok then

All he has to do is he better than the last guy and there’s a thousand ways to spin ur experience at the U should he leave.

And lots of times u need to get that big boy job on your resume so you can get the next big boy job

So yes, he knew he was out of his league and did this so he could not get fired from New Mexico

On one hand you have this...

Then on the other hand you have the “everything is fine & under control” narrative from Lake.

What’s been interesting is that both David Lake & Mike Ryan have been saying that everything is fine & not a clown show, but when they describe in more detail what’s going on with the AD search, it kinda sorta just a little bit maybe sounds like a sh*tshow lol...

So what am I to believe?
