I get that but I'm more saying that the AD search thing has been somewhat botched from the jump. We both agree on that.

Doesn't answer the question of what exactly Frenk should say if you are of the belief that he should make some kind of public statement.

Manny is done. Only an absolute Epstein could possibly think otherwise at this point. They just can't say that out loud right now.

Yes, it's a **** show, but not rudderless. It's clear who is in charge at this point. Whether they will win is TBD, but it's looking pretty likely from the tea leaves.

Seems like pretty decisive leadership to me. In fact, some might say that those in charge are behaving like steely eyed assassins with balls the size of churchbells right now as they go about their business in spite of all the noise and lies.

why the **** would they fire blake james three weeks ago and cause this media circus?

they should have had a select few in contention then let blake go rather than lead us to here where people are backing out of the running and potentially running mario off

Not signaling you out as this is the opinion of many on this board but to me this is a fake narrative. I have serious doubts this is what is really happening. Someone needs to prove there are Bot members internationally trying to make the school look bad before I will just believe it.

I'm glad this is all bs, and I really hope most of the sane people realize this...but for the national media that doesn't know any better, this makes us look bad. I think most of us are just upset that someone that's supposed to be our own is deliberately sabotaging the program for his personal self interest, and that cannot go unpunished. Epstein and others need to be dealt with, because this direct embarrassment of the program is all their doing...how can they continue to be allowed to operate like this?

That's not bad, except for two things.
  1. He can't put words in the BOT's mouth for something they haven't reviewed or signed off on yet.
  2. Very few of the people panicking right now would accept that amount of vagueness out of him; and you don't come out with a three or four sentence public statement at a time like this. It simply wouldn't help things in my mind.

It takes no effort to say, the reports aren’t true. We have engaged a firm and have a special committee of the board tasked with overseeing the search. Only an idiot stays silent when the press puts this stuff into the ether because it scares of coaches and your athletes.

i'm not sticking up for him because I don't really follow him or know his body of work

but he's a reporter, his job is to get people looking at his posts and keep the hot topics going....like every other reporter

not all reporters have motives, they care about their job and getting views
