Old dog, new tricks?

Is Mario really dead set on a bro ball, tight formation, grind it out style of football?

Yes, coach it or allow it applies to OCs as well as players so ultimately the result on the field is his responsibility.

He vetted these guys and approved the style/approach of play for each year, and he didn't hit the portal hard enough 2 years straight.

The question I keep coming back to is, is this grind it out style what he believes is the way to build a championship team?

Can he not see what the playoff contenders are rocking for near the last 10 years? Is this an old dog who just refuses to learn a new trick?

Or has he missed on 2 straight coordinators and faced some really erratic QB play and this is an old dog who tried a new trick earnestly, but reverted back to his old habits for refuge when things went south?

Can and is Mario trying to embrace a change in approach and it just went really south on him, or is he truly married to this grind it out style? Does he have blinders on and posses so little self awareness as to continue down this doomed road?

Man I hope it's the former, I want Miami to be competitive and back in the mix every year for real like so many of us here do. But hope needs a spark sometimes, and I'm not seeing that spark with Mario right now. Does anyone else see it?

You want to bring in 5 Star WR, this offense needs to go: This is looking just like Gaddis offense, and the only constant is Mario.
