DMoney mentioned how we just look smaller on the Oline this year. Pancake has been good but he’s not Bell or SiSi size wise. SJ is obviously undersized.

It doesn’t seem like they’re willing to play Jackson’ at RT, so should we start rotating in Cantwell at LT and move Pancake to guard every three series or so? This would immediately give us more size and could be our highest ceiling line. If they want to try this out, they need to do it asap so we can get Cantwell some experience before the stretch run.
 
Maybe if they just had Cantwell at LT (or RT idgaf) all offseason and getting him reps there during the easiest opening 4 game stretch we have had in literally like 6 years.....

Or maybe if they had SJ always ONLY ever practicing at center and getting game reps there we'd be far better off.

I mean do yall think we would be better off with SJ at Center and Rodriguez at Guard? Cause I do.
Do I think if Cantwell had a FULL offseason ONLY AT OT, and then 4 games worth of reps with McCoy at OG we'd be better off? I mean even if we figured out that wasn't working I'd rather Move McCoy OUT to OT then into guard mid season.

Sad thing Is I was literally saying this all ******* offseason and opening 4 weeks. I'm not sure there has ever been something so ******* obvious as SJ can ONLY be a center at our level... yet staff has complete ******* blinders to the problem. I'm telling you every year there are just players they REFUSE to address their inadequecies. LBs, SJ, RB rotation often, Thornton, ......

Now the reality is we need to hope SJ takes massive leap, Buchanan miraculously heals, or I guess Meriweather suddenly stops looking like garbage....

Best guess at a solution with a long-term and Overall playoff potential higher ceiling with likely no worse of an outcome
vs the guaranteed **** sandwhich we've been getting force fed.

This **** is obvious. There was no need to TRY this when this could have always been the fall back with these exact expected results.

Did anyone think there was going to be some high ceiling outcome with SJ at Guard? lmao.

Again there are some things that I agree with you about, but you(we) may just be incorrect.

I am right, because the ceiling of SJ at Guard is barely above the floor. That's the entire point lol
The thing I am most sure of is SJ should have only been getting Reps at Center. Nothing else. And he shouldn't get a single ******* rep anywhere but center going forward. I'd 100% rather try Rodriguez at Guard next few games AT WORST.

I'm sure some time in his what? 5 years? on campus Ryan Rodriguez has been looked at guard. What if he is a better center than SJ? And what if SJ is a better guard?
