It's still amazes me how any rational person blames "culture" for UMs problems. Last week they said it was because the D was filled with losers. Today, the D was the major reason that UM won. Lane Kiffin basically replaced his roster through the portal and they are now 7-1. If players believe a coach is going to put them in a position to win, they'll play hard. If the players sense a coach is floundering, they won't play hard. It's not that complicated.
 
Am I the only one that noticed that kid was concussed? THe announcers were basically explaining the symptoms of a concussion. The kid proceeded to throw his next two passes to the stands..

Kiffin is actually a helluva recruiter ... Evans and Dart were 5 stars as you know

He's just like Tark the Shark when he got it rolling at UNLV and would take those top recruits on the rebound.

Tark used to say something to the effect of, "I like transfers better because their cars are already paid for." :LOL:

TCU was
5-7 in 2021
6-4 in 2020
5-7 in 2019
7-6 in 2018

Their recruiting class rankings were:
- 28th for class of 22
- 44th for class of 21
- 23rd for class of 20
- 32nd for class of 19
- 25th for class of 18

I wonder what Sonny Dykes did to establish a “cULcHa!” in just one offseason to be 8-0 in year 1?

It certainly wasn’t load up on 5-star athletes... Their QB Max Duggan was horrendous his first 3 seasons as a starter

I wonder what changed? 🤔...

Sonny Dykes could have been very effective here in Miami but saying something like that is considered blasphemy here. I'm not saying I'm giving up on Mario and his plan just that Cristobal's preferred style of football is like watching paint dry.

Kirby told me “you can’t outcoach recruiting” yet we see it every week in Texas and Miami.
 
Lane the train Kiffin was my #1. Met him a few times while he was coaching FAU. A meddling program that he made chicken salad out of chicken *****. Hands down one of the better coaches today. Would've killed it with the SFL skilled players and coaching the Canes.

A long 20 plus years now and counting. Let's hope Mario leaves his Columbus Ego at the door going forward and resets the coach's room. He needs great Coordinators. Period. 🙏
