OL heads... ride with zion?

I didn't read all the replies so this may have been mentioned but I don't think it's fair to Zion either. He may end up like one of those shell shocked QBs who played before they were ready.

I just don’t see anything that makes me think he’s gonna develop into a decent LT. Guys like Blades and Hall are making mistakes but you can see the talent is there to be All ACC. Don’t see it with Zion
So what does that say about the guys we have behind him that they don't get a chance to play let alone start. I don't know why people would think the coaches are holding on to better options on the bench versus playing a guy who was 245lbs a few months ago. I say live with him but get him help during the game. And then hopefully he has the same level of development body-wise in year 2 as he did this year and he comes back a new man. But clearly the Hillery and Herbert's of the world aren't any good and neither are the backup guards that would allow us to move a Scaife.

Yea the is is the same staph that started Patchan over Rousseau for the first 5 games so excuse me if I don’t believe that whole “he’s playing cause there’s no one better” narrative

Could there be reasons we are not aware of? Disciplinary reasons?

I was firmly on the "let's be patient, it will be tough sometimes", but I don’t think he is improving in anything tbh. He hit a wall and keeping him there is just hurting him and the offense. It’s time to shut him down and give him reps in blowouts(lol, like this team is capable of that) or injury only.

Who you gonna' replace him with, Einstein? dUh. After all, if their was a BETTER player, I'd like to believe he'd be playing instead of the true freshmen. dUh

Y'all turn so quickly. I was a huge fan when we signed him, a huge skeptic when we started him game 1 as a true freshman, and now I'm probably his biggest fan again.

He should be redshirting. I think he's the future at LT, but if we have a better option right now, let's play him. I just don't see it. It's not campbell and it's not hillary. That leaves Herbert? Might as well give him a few game time snaps and see what happens.

Are you that DENSE?????????????? Well are you! Because it's SIX GAMES into the season and the true freshmen is still STARTING! dUh So what does that tell you for Pete's sake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They want consistency on the OL. Enos must be advising Diaz that consistency is the key to a great OL in the long run from his days at Bama. All the shuffling isn't going to help make it better. They are praying that by the time the season is over and we are heading into the Spring..this lineup is fully gelled and ready to take over in 2020. (ZIon-Donaldson-Gaynor-Clark-Scaife) Manny is playing the long game of hoping that Zion can just learn on the job and get better with reps. It sounds crazy, I know.

But if Diaz didn't get Zion out of there when he almost got JW killed in the CMU game, he is never taking him out. When that CMU DE went around him like he wasn't even moving and Diaz still had him out there I knew Diaz was playing the long game. Crazy or not.

(SIDENOTE: You must admit. Zion does look physically impressive for a TF. Tall, Lean, long arms. He needs A+ coaching but I am interested to see how he performs once he has a full year under his belt)
