This hits home with me as a child of immigrants, one of many in Miami, whose hard-working parents could not afford to pay for their children's tuition, so we kids had to do the Community College to 4 year school, meanwhile taking on several jobs to pay for school and a better car to get us to work and school. Others did it by joining the military and potentially putting their lives on the line. The hard work is real but the payoff is worthwhile if one does things right and work hard. Which is why I just shake my head at these kids who have a full ride and manage to not appreciate what they have that others don't. A shame. What a bunch of knuckle heads (and this goes for the other adults in their lives).
