Okay, which one of you haters threw the flag...

That 80 yard run is the perfect example of why Walton was the starter last year. He gets hit in the hole for what should have been a two yard gain but he keeps his balance, bounces off the would be tackler and takes it to the house.

They really hit Walton with the Hein last season but he routinely made something out of nothing.

Exactly, it's the offseason. What are we supposed to do, sit around saying "I don't want to be ranked until we prove we should be ranked."?

Lack of run blocking was exposed against App State and proceeded to kill us for the next several games.

Someone tell me we will roll.

Still trying to figure out why we are the P5 school that goes to play @App State and @ AK State.

Playing a game at their stadium saves the athletic department a bunch of money. Normally a P5 school would have to shell out hundreds of thousands of dollars to a sacrificial lamb for a home game. Since those games are traditionally poorly attended, Miami ends up losing money by paying those teams. Offering to play a game at their stadium gets them out of having to pay them money.

It's really pathetic and hopefully the athletic director can schedule some home and home series against better competition but until then we're stuck playing @ App St, AK State and Cincinnatti. These series' were scheduled years ago under a much more frugal budget than what they have right now.
