Later we want VTech over UVA (imo the most important game of them all), NCSt over UNC, and then after all that Cal over SMU. ... To make the ACC CG

I will say though that SMU winning and remaining ranked helps our At Large bid though. So that's why it's more preferable if UVA is the one that goes down.

Plus SMU is just unlikely to lose to Cal imo.

Thank you. Cal-SMU was the one tripping me up for the reason you said - the likelihood is lower for us getting into the ACCCG so if we aren’t making it in I would think we want SMU for the SOS help.

Well the good thing is it's last. Though it's only starting like an hour after UVA vs VTech. So based on that result we will know just how badly we NEED SMU to lose or not.

If I knew for a certainty that after the Pitt result we'd jump ND and BYU (and Texas wouldn't jump us!) BUT it'd require SMU winning (to keep our sos and "quality loss") Id 100% take it tbh without even knowing the UVA result.

If I understand correctly, we are literally 1 foot away from being in the ACC championship game. When North Carolina went for two against Virginia they came up 1 foot short to win the game.
