Ok, where is 'the Franchise'?

But doesnt leach fall under name we’ve heard the last two cycles??? He has intrigued me in the past but just worried hes closer to burnt out rather than fire within.

I’m glad Rickety officially quit after ostensibly retiring 6 years ago. But it’s meaningless if we round up the same busted process. Go hire a search firm to find you Booch or Mark Stoops. LOL.

Need to start with guys like Campbell, Babers or someone like that who will bring immediate fire and energy and, most importantly, an offense that will work.

Need a guy who will immediately reenergize this dead program because we don’t have the luxury of waiting several years for him to “get his guys” or any of the other dumb **** excuses. Find a guy who schemes it up better than others and cut him loose. We need our version of Lincoln Riley.

Leach with money for a good defensive staff and recruiters fixes a lot of out problems.

Plus, he may incorporate the run a bit more once he sees he has Lingard, Davis, Dee Jay etc...

High ceiling hire IMO. We should get this over with, we aren’t going to get much better than him IMO.

Absolutely, this is only half the equation. And for this hire, UM can be safe or cheap, or care about public perception too much. I'd love for them to be bold but please, no retreads for the love of god. Miami has gone down this route and its gotten them mired in mediocrity

Again, I dont think this is a complete rebuild, if this offense would've scored just 28 points a game this season - it's a 11 win season or close to it

Yep, Leach has evolved his philosophy on both sides of the ball since his Texas Tech days.
Better coaching on defensive side and better running on offense.
I would take him in a heartbeat plus with that offense, it is plug-and-play with the assistant coaches
and coordinators. You don't have to spend an inordinate amount of budget to keep a good staff.

Yes. Come to the pirate. I’ve been yelling for years back in the last site to get Leach. He’s made for Miami and vice versa.
 
Think Leach would get a decent DC here probably harder to get a good one at WSU than it is here.

As the first captain of the SS Leach, I wholeheartedly endorse this choice. Let's finally have some fun. I think Leach and Banda could work well. Winning takes care of recruiting.

I tell you one thing, I bet Leach has already made some calls. Anyone with any sort of connections, please make some noise and tell the BOT to sack up and make the bold choice.
 
Here's how the coaching search should start. Lock Blake James in a room and ask him to list his "top 5".

Then proceed to immediately eliminate every one of those 5 names. Just by doing that we'd exponentially increase our chances of hitting on a good hire.
