OK, onto UM-FSU....

Those of you completely obliterating FSU's OL, I get it for sure, but you need to understand what you're talking about.

They were the healthiest they've been all year against Louisville, and while they're still struggling to run, they gave up 0 sacks for the first time all year. Now, I don't see any 9's, 97's, or 99's on UL, but still, it was a marked improvement.

The reason is Landon ****erson (LT) and Cole Minshew (LG) are back. Neither had played much all season. The line we all watched Syracuse absolutely abuse will be mostly back to the bench. I still expect Miami to dominate the LOS, but I think a lot of people assume these kids will just be turnstiles like we saw against Syracuse, Samford and Northern Illinois. They're much healthier now than they were in those games. Keep an eye out for Derrick Kelly this week. He hasn't played since I believe VT, but he's close. If he plays, I think they really will only have 1 OL out of the 5 who is legitimately terrible and shouldn't be on the field. The other kids aren't great, and they still literally have no tackles (the kids playing there are really guards who had to kick out), but they're at least somewhat capable D1 kids, which is not what FSU was trotting out there earlier in the season.

Just food for thought. I fully expect the DL to eat, but I'm reading things like they're not gonna be able to get snap off, Miami will have 10 sacks, etc. You guys have to realize that although the FSU OL is certainly not good, if Kelly plays they will have 4 kids who at least belong at a P5 school. I think they had basically 1 against Syracuse.

I didn’t..go find that post & bring it here...

Let’s see if I wrote the same thing.
Just saying, there’s nothing wrong to be concerned or dissect another team’s best player

I think that then I remember FSU almost losing to Al Golden even with Crablegs and that traitor d cook.

Hope you’re right.

I also remember FSU beating Al Golden with Crablegs and Cook 44-14.

Misdirection, screens to his side, running at him, and chipping, and Burns won't be a problem. We can't let their best player on d make an impact. Get that gameplan right, Richt.

Their OL looked like a bunch of matadors against VT too. Calm down

They weren't healthy then either. The only real half of football they've played, if you can call it that, was the first half against VT. They were already down Minshew, who is starting this week, and then they lost ****erson right around halftime of the VT game. Pure downhill from there.

Those 2 are back this week. The last kid they're expecting back is Derrick Kelly, but I don't think he's going to play.

****erson at LT and Minshew at LG are serviceable. Nothing special, but they're Power 5 kids. Eberle at Center, Arnold at RG and Scott at RT are pretty abysmal.

Regardless, it will not be the line you saw at Syracuse, which was maybe the biggest joke in the history of their program. ****erson is by far their best lineman, and he missed the 2nd half of VT, and the entire Samford, Cuse, and Northern Ill games. Came back last week, and I don't think it's a coincidence they gave up 0 sacks for the first time all year.

Miami is still gonna absolutely eat up front, but their OL will not be the complete circus clown show it was a few weeks ago.

Heard that today they practiced with "renewed energy", had hurricane flags flying around their field & were piping in loud music trying to simulate Hard Rock atmosphere (good luck with that). They refer to Hard Rock as "Doak South". LETS GO CANES!
