After the pathetic performance last Saturday... Vegas is more of a Canes fan than many here.
3.5 dogs isn't ****. I have faith in the orange/green/white... no more Miami Nights.

No, we can definitely win, but the margin of error is a lot slimmer than the previous games we’ve played thus far.

Most people really haven’t watched UNC & thus why many have been downplaying them, but they’re gonna be a really difficult matchup for our Defense.

And the fact it’s @ Chapel Hill is what presents a whole new set of challenges that we have to be prepared for.

I suspect the uber-vanilla running game that we saw against Ga Tech was designed to set up a bunch of play action passes to the tight ends against UNC.

My best guess is that the team spent the bye week prepping for UNC.
 
I’m not hopeful that we will run wild and control the game. If you couldn’t do it against GT, you probably won’t be able to against UNC. And I don’t think we should. Dawson needs to open it up and let TVD do his thing. He’s at his best when he throwing bombs, and running tempo. Use the passing game to open up the running game.

Contain Maye. He’s gonna gash this defense if he gets out of the pocket. He’s a very good scrambler. Guidry needs to use his A&M gameplan on Saturday night. You gotta get to Maye. He threw a couple of REALLY bad picks in the game last year when he had guys in his face.

lol this is the offense. there is no save the playbook. we've said this every year with every OC and nothing Changes. were a month plus into the season and theyre still saving the playbook? no thats a lie we tell ourselves to think there is more. there isnt imo. this is the offense and the playbook. if executed well, it can provide explosion as we've seen so far but we've had a soft schedule minus ATM so far. its tougher here and more teams have film on us so lets see how Dawson can adjust but I dont buy the save the playbook BS.

We've been pretending the TE passing game was coming all season. Time to put that to bed. Last week was the time to use the mythical TE with GT playing off and allowing underneath passing.

In all fairness to the team, we did accumulate almost twice as many passing and rushing yards as GT, about 40% more first downs, and 10 minutes more in time of possession.

All two weeks leading up to the game we were talking about how GT was going to gash us through the air. They had less than 200 yards off offense until we gave them the game on that last drive.

Sadly the turnovers, biased officiating, and one of the biggest brain farts in coaching history negated all that.

Erase the bull****, no reason we can't beat UNC.
