Ok, I read on Twitter that Rosier said....

Agreed. I'm also sure there are 32 GMs in the NFL that are happy with the way Jeff Thomas runs his routes and would be okay with how he does it for their respective teams come to the 2020 NFL draft.

I know 100’s of qbs that would have an enormous erection at the thought of a guy like Thomas constantly running free in secondaries

I really don't understand why Richt's hitching his wagon to Rosier. And yes, fully aware that the O-line was far from perfection; but other QBs are able to make it work with what we got. Richt has set up a potential divide in the locker room which can ruin everything before Miami is even rebuilt.

- Richt apologized to Rosier for benching him during the Pitt game (even though it was more than deserved).
- Rosier basically said that LSU's coaching staff outcoached Miami's.
- Rosier threw Jeff Thomas under the bus saying he runs his routes way too fast. *receivers have their own traits that make them elite. Jeff Thomas' is his speed (dude can catch as well). Sure, tell him to not do the thing that makes him better than everyone else on the field*
- Richt benches AR82 for getting into Rosier's grill, even though he deserves it.

It's become blatant that Rosier is getting preferential treatment. Sorry I'm in my feels today and will be until I see a change.
WHen he named Rosier the starter so soon after fall practice started, I had a really bad feeling. It was strange that Williams went from looking the best in spring to 4th string, and Rosier locked up the starting job. Now, had Rosier come out and played well all of that might have made sense. The fact he played like garbage and actually didn’t improve at all makes me question what the **** is going on?

Funny how John Ross from the Washington Huskies (4.22 at the NFL combine) wasn't too fast for any of the qbs he's had. Maybe Thomas should slow down a little bit to match his speed.

I think we kind of understand now why we didn't get any videos of any of the scrimmages or stats.

Jeff Thomas was 'too fast', OK, NOW I've heard it all

Thomas with a competent QB would've had 200-plus yards last night. But his nickname should be 'Barnum and Bailey' because of all the circus grabs he has to make just to get touches

I can see why he wanted to transfer and not be stuck with this guy as his QB

That quote is so sad it's actually kinda funny(but not in a ha ha way)

You could see it the entire second half of last season. Thomas was running wide open every **** game. He’s not only fast and quick, but you can tell he takes his craft seriously. He never takes a play off. And last night he was running every route with conviction and precision.

He’s the total package: heart, drive, speed, elusiveness, hands, and body control.

I used to curse Dorsey for constantly underthrowing AJ. Oh how the times have changed. What Rosier is doing to Thomas (and Richards, to a lesser extent) is criminal. Of course, our corch is watching it happen every game and not doing a **** thing about it.

Literally threw up in my mouth.

This dude is the worst ever. I’ve never in my life heard of a QB say that. Speed is a QBs friend. That means I can throw the ball out of ahead of you w some air and ONLY YOU can catch it. The problem is Rosier has 0 feel for the deep ball and 0 feel for ball placement. So if of course he’s too fast. The moment Jeff is open, he waits for him to get to a spot v. throwing to that spot in anticipation. Therefore, it’s an incomplete pass, b/c that window has closed. Get this bum out of my face!

It's disheartening that going into year 3 that we have not recruited and developed a QB that can do better than #12 did last night.

Rosier comes across as a not too serious student of the game or a leader. I can't believe we haven't yet done better than this.

Rosier and Feagles are probably in my top 5 of most hated Canes. Rosier may have taken the top spot with that comment.

Exactly , it’s year three and we’re still having this conversation.

Lol When you think you’ve heard it all smh ****

I wonder how Jeff Thomas feels about a qb telling him to slow down you’re defending yourself?? Gtfoh a healthy Morris would’ve been throwing 50 yard dimes to him every game.

Imagine all the speed guys like Santana Moss being told they’re running too fast??

Rell, this is Malik admitting he has no clue on how to play QB because many plays(especially the big ones) are ones that you throw as guys are about to burst past a guy( that old phrase - if he's even, he's leaving). I mean Rosier would probably tell Randy Moss,'Well, I didn't throw it to you as your raised your hand up on that 9-route because you weren't open yet."

At this level you can't have a QB who has such a poor football IQ and understanding of certain concepts

Think about Thomas last night, great stat line but how much YAC opportunities did he get? I'm telling you, #4 could've played on the great UM teams, I think he's that good(Claude Jones, who went to the game, agrees) but he's stuck making circus grabs all the time. It reminds me a bit of Santana Moss with Kenny Kelly in 1999.

Ask Moss who he liked better, KK or Dorsey?

after the season Im told, was very frustrated 'by certain things'

You're making **** up.

You say that now, and not anytime before. It's BS. Show some proof, because I have it on good authority that Dugans is basically a father to Jeff, and that Jeff is very happy at Miami

@5:42 he talks about how they thought they were going to have someone covering Jeff but they were dropping LB's back in Zone defending the crossing route...

Does Malik know they were doing that on purpose because they didn't believe he could make those throws across the zone? Does Malik not understand that's exactly how they baited him into throwing that Pick 6?
